There is rumours that the UKGC are positioning themselves to prohibit streamers using Twitch as a platform to advertise/stream gambling. This would be due to no age gating on the platform at all. However, there is no official word from the UKGC so no idea how the rumour got started. A few streamers have already made the move to YouTube based on rumours that seem to have no varifiable source. Even if the UKGC do go on to ban Twitch, things will simply move to Youtube and the shit show will continue there. It's not like Youtube have any real hard age gating either. Twitch will on doubt implement some form of age gating if it happens to nullify it eventually as well. UKGC should just ban all gambling streams. Fact is, all of them exist to get you to sign up to X new casino and dump your money with lucrative welcome bonuses.
