Not accepting people’s bullshit excuses for losing their money has nothing to do with a lack of empathy or morals. I do feel for people with gambling issues, it is an issue, as I’m sure I’ve already stated... but some people have no self acccountability, and they’d rather blame the world for their problems, and I have an issue with that.

It’s clear that you find the streaming and affiliation abhorrent so you’ll try and claim anyone who is indifferent about streamers and how they make their money lacks a moral compass. You’re free to do that.

I’m going to start streaming my virtual racing sessions, lots of vulgar language, shouting and things getting smashed, should make for good viewing and sure to put people off playing them

I’d actually watch that. That’s something I’ve never gambled on, virtuals. it may be the only thing I’ve never had a bet on.

I do not find streaming or affiliation abhorrent. I find the ways in which it is practised to be abhorrent. Many of these streamers/content producers are glorifying gambling and promoting it in an irresponsible manner. I am sorry I mentioned your favourite content producer, please don't be hurt, I do not like to focus on individuals considering most of them do the same things.

I got about half of the way through scripting an extension that would place bets voted on by the viewers in the chat but I never finished it. Was going to run it on Twitch occasionally for some fun (not sure if it would have been allowed).

As I’ve stated, I’m indifferent to streamers, I watch the content from some but they’re not important, maybe reading comprehension is an issue you struggle with? At least you can blame someone else.

That would be awesome, but you wouldn't be able to broadcast the horse racing on Twitch or Youtube, so would have to just go for virtual racing, even then you'd have to ask permission from the operator to rebroadcast the virtual races which is why I never finished it. Some years ago there was an American chap that would broadcast American horse racing on Twitch and bet on it as he talked with people on his chat, but I think he was DMCA striked.

Nah, streamers only come into it because they’re the “excuse” for people who can’t take responsibility for themselves. Streaming and affiliation could end tomorrow For all I care.

Would u really need to ask permission to show a made up virtual race? That's a genuine question BTW lol I understand u can't show actual live racing but virtuals?

I didn’t know you would have to get permission to do this, is that only if you live stream, if I just recorded a session and put it on here would the same rules apply.

Some of them are streaming full time hours with unobtainable bonuses, playing at ridiculous stakes. Others offer incentives such as monthly cash prizes if you sign up and gamble on particular sites. Others offer ridiculous exclusive bonuses. Others only post videos of their wins. Not only are many of them glorifying gambling, painting an unrealistic picture of slots etc, they are actively encouraging people to sign up and gamble themselves.

 

Problem gamblers should take responsibility of their own actions. The affiliates promoting irresponsibly should also be held accountable to some extent.

Are they telling viewers that they can have unlimited deposit bonuses? I don’t know. Maybe you do.

i don’t have an issue with the competitions, again, nobody is making them play at all these casinos every month. Nobody is forcing them to sign up. If anything, it’s beneficial for people who like to play with bonuses, I don’t myself, I just do cash deposits and never take a bonus. Because it’s not beneficial with the sites I use.

I enjoy watching Bandits videos amongst others. But one thing with bandits videos which I dont like, he always chases his losses, which we all know unless you have the funds to keep depositing, you very rarely win back what you start with. Never mind making a profit. To me it sets a bad example for people to follow.
