Streamers

Is it me or slots streaming becoming a bit stale? I've watch Bandit, Rolla and a small bit of Craig's stream over the last week, and never got to the end of them in one go. Are the days gone when we would look forward to almost constant nightly exciting streams full of epic wins and nail biting bonuses, has it all got just a little bit boring? Now am not having a go here, am just asking the question, l realise that when utube started banning streamers that it got a bit harder for streaming and created a bit of a lull, am not really sure it has quite recovered from this. I also get the feeling that Rolla doesn't enjoy it as much as he once did, and if the slots are playing shit l can totally understand this. Like us all we find other stuff to move onto, he seems more happy with his poker, and l must say he's dam good at it. As gambler's we tend to stick with what we bet till the win's dry up or we need something fresh, slots to horses, lucky 15 to patents etc and maybe its just the same for streamers and followers. Has the days of the slots streamers gone? Should we be looking for new ideas? I don't have the answers, and as l said maybe its just me.

I do see where you are coming from. The only live stream i watch is rolla, but end up missing most of the action trying to keep up with the chat!

If the slots are not performing, of course its going to be a bit boring, but being live anything can happen

I watch bandits videos and also enjoy chipmonkz.

I used to watch streams quite a lot but the past few months I haven’t bothered watching anyone apart from rolla .i find them quite boring now to be honest and if it wasn’t for the great chat and Paul’s personality , I don’t think I’d even bother with any of them .

on a side note Paul’s 24 hours charity stream was the best ever .

I have been watching streams for nearly two years and used to watch all the regulars like Nick, Jimbo, Craig, Grapes but the only one I watch now is Paul. He never plugs any sites or offers about sign up bonuses. I've noticed how much the stakes have increased with them too, as well as the number of huge wins that they hit. Look at the amount of 1000x wins Paul has had this year compared to the others...no wonder he has taken a break! I just think the others come across as a bit fake. Even watching Bandit doesn't appeal like it used to...with the five casino's that he plugs! He wasn't aware that Mr Green, his latest addition, charge for withdrawals! Not much research done there. He has since said he will refund people but instead of getting involved in the business side, just concentrate on streaming quality and realistic videos for the average viewer. I think I will stick to watching Rolla as he is the most likeable and genuine of the lot. I wish him luck. ?

Guest Chair Slots

Slots have changed. 2 years ago 95% of the games being played on stream were low-mid variance stuff (South Park, Invisible Man etc) which meant streams lasted longer as the money was recycled and we were all having fun. These days 95% of slots being played are super high variance and therefore bust outs occur more regularly and morale is affected (Paul being case in point). Problem is, now streamers have had and viewers have seen 5000x + wins on ridiculous stakes, it's hard to go back to £2 Creature isn't it.

There's also the big factor that back then it was all new and inevitably the novelty will wear off, but I say give me a 2016 NetEnt lower rolling stream any day.

Having read all the comments above I tend to side with Personality and Truth being the two attractions of Streamers.  Obviously the games have changed markedly over the last 18 months as BTG has a stranglehold on high variance slots......and the mad pie Gamble on Reel King is very exciting, but after you've seen 100 streams it really boils down to the personality of the streamer.

In which case we all know why we are members of this forum....because Paul is a decent bloke, and its obvious he's not going to make a commercial success from Slots.....however he spends upwards of 1500 pounds every stream and provides good entertainment, personally interacting with all viewers on chat.....thats the difference. There is a commonality in the like minded approach to gambling ,and a madness in the excessive last ditch attempt to grab a big response from DHV...... albeit often unsuccessful  .  Finally Paul is enjoying the company of the people who watch his stream.......I don't believe other streamers empathise with those who are watching in the same manner.  Yes some streams are boring, but the banter can be very amusing.....

I think Paul has the best group of followers. Highly amusing and very welcoming, everyone seems to know everyone and all get along (pretty much). Very entertaining, even for the viewers who don't get involved with the chat (me).  Although, I feel I know quite a few of you.

Really enjoyed last nights stream, maybe more so than previous, as its been a while.

A lot of us don’t tend to get involved in the chat mate as it can go by so fast . It’s why this forum is so good as you get to know people much better.

Agree mate, don't tend to chat much on stream, just a quick hello. More relaxed on the forum.
