Popular Post adamuk Posted October 8, 2019 Popular Post Share Posted October 8, 2019 Well after a hellish journey up that apparently should have taken just under 5 hours it took me 8.5 and after less than 30 minutes on the road I had a puncture So I arrived in Blackpool only to find there had been a bit of a cock up with the Hotels Cue @Blampy taking over and getting myself @Sgt_bilk0 and @slots4fun777 a room at his place!! @slots4fun777 turned up with his lovely wife and his adorable Child and his Grandmother who was acting as a Childminder, they were very lucky to get a room for them all. We all got settled and were trying to work out where everyone was, of course they were Gambling in Coral Island, we decided to head straight to the Casino (The Grovesner) which was a short walk away. We met up up with @Rocknrolla @Seedy @TheBandit who were obviously at the bar the fun then began, now I don't Gamble or Drink but I had already said to @Blampy I was going to have a budget of £50.00 each night (More on this later) @TheBandit Was straight on roulette and straightaway down £££, he tried to get some more money out but there was a problem, and after much talking to various Mangers it still didn't get resolved. They offer offered everyone a free meal for the Saturday (More of that later) Meanwhile the rest of us lot were having a little go here and there, @Sgt_bilk0 Went on a little Roulette run and everyone in Blackpool knew it, infact I think he was the only one of us that won. We headed back to the Hotel about 0330 ish and I was just about to shut my eyes and there was a knock on my door, up I get and it was out very own @Sgt_bilk0 In I think the technical term is "Three Sheets to the Wind" he couldn't get into his room and thought his Partner had fallen asleep and could not be woken,we tried everything but no answer, Off he went somewhere and I thought nothing more of it, then about 0410 I heard "little old me, little old me, got chucked out if a casino, little ole me" Over and over again like somekind of Mantra It was out very own @1pstaker who was obviously very proud and amazed he got chucked out of the Casino, his crime he fell about a bit and knocked some tables over, he blames @Sgt_bilk0 as he realised there were cheap £1.00 pints at the bar so off I go to get some sleep again, then my phone goes and it's @TheBingoKingx Asking for help as in his way home ( he was staying at the Hilton at the time, but not for long ) had stumbled across @Sgt_bilk0 partner and she could not remember where the hotel was and neither did he, obviously they had both been drinking don't was a little like the blind leading the blind, that got sorted and finally about 0500 I got some sleep I woke at 0800 to go and get my Breakfast, I opened my door and I honestly though maybe I was having somekind of LSD flashback, as I was confronted by hundreds of pounds in £20.00 and £10.00 notes, all outside my room and down the stairs I also noticed a jacket and realised it was @Sgt_bilk0 so I gathered it all up and put back into the wallet and put it all in my room, 1p"little ole me" staker had beaten me to it!!!! And was still really happy that he had got thrown out. People eventually emergered and then we had another Hotel problem, this got sorted with @Blampy And @Sgt_bilk0 Mounting TGC rescue and recovery mission to get @TheBingoKingx Back to our hotel @Rocknrolla turned up for our stream we did that some of you may have seen, and then it was @Jessr time dah dah dah Now I have spoken to Jess about this and she is a top lass, she drove from work straight to the hotel, she had no room etc but we said we would all sort something for her, as she was going to sleep in her car, we couldn't have that. @Jessr Gets straight on the shots and then wants a shower and to get changed, I said use my room now I wont divulge all, but needless to say I ended up with her knickers and bra in my sink and only found them after she had gone, I should have kept them as they would have been a great addition to the shelf Competions she is a really great laugh and she can drink!!!!! So we all got ready and got to the casino at 2030 as it was free meal time we all orders some food, it took ages to come until we realised some people had ordered starters, even though I didnt see any on the menu, I mounted a Chicken starter raid and managed to get one bit back to where I was sitting The food all came we mostly had Fillet Steak obviously not @Rocknrolla who had Salad and Peanuts The Gold card then came out and was snaffled by me, then Jess who decided she would try and steal as well (nice hiding place Jess) Then it was Casino time...... Bandit had all his money sorted and they decided to in there infinite wisdom give us all a FREE BAR and a private table. Up and down it went on roulette then it was ££££££££ down then literally his last £500 on 8 and 11 split and boom all the way back up to over 50k I had gone halfs at some point with @slots4fun777 and @1pstaker and won a little bit and Paul came over and said Adam you don't gamble what are you doing and was geniunally concerned I was going to in someway slip back into bad habits, Blampy told Paul I had already said about my £50.00 plan and Paul still looked concerned so I have him my money and said, look give me this back later buddy, it was only £65.00 but he seemed happier (nice touch off Paul I thought, he did the same with taking Bandits chips and passing to Seedy when he started winning again) @TheBandit called it a night and so did we, he did an amazing thing for someone but I will let them tell you if they want. Back to the hotel and up early again breakfast and home from a memorable weekend with some great people. Paul messaged me when I got home to get my money back to me, but I had to remind him at the end of the night he already gave it to me I think he had a Rum to many possibly!
