Mad Slasher McGurk Posted August 22, 2023 Share Posted August 22, 2023 (edited) In the 2.30 Newton Abbot the jockey on Valentino Dancer tried to be smart and just win and no more for the sake of the handicap mark and it cost him the race. He would have won that race easily enough if he had just fully driven the horse from two out but he figured Stepney Causeway would weaken and just got chinned on the line because of it.
