There must be a reason why hes not getting any airtime? As you said though, hes done well for the club when he has played and hes being benched. What hope do we have keeping decent young players at the club if shit like this goes on Lennon always has his favourites /mates look at him with kris commons in his first stint as manager. Weah. Burke etc were all getting game time the players who should be away from celtic as they are just not good enough lustig. Hayes etc werent getting game time. Rodgers was the same though look at they way he treated Griffiths. Griffiths could score and play amazing and Rodgers would still say to the media he needs to put in more effort and drop him the next week. But when dembele or eduord had a poor game he would say they played well and not drop them. Then it was said that Rodgers hadn't spoken to Griffiths for months

Shit like that shouldnt be allowed to go on at clubs of this stature.
howfin
Or rather, in any club, but youd think a team like Celtic would have that sort of shit under control
Garryboy001
If celtic want to stay the dominant force then they need to look elsewhere for their next full time manager. Lennon was great first time round but they have been rubbish since he came back. They have a huge cash reserve sitting in the bank, well huge for Scottish football so they can easily afford to spend a bit on a decent manager and secure 10 in a row. Everyone laughs when I say this but I'd go for mourinho. If he came to parkhead and secured 10 in a row he would be idolised forever and I believe that would interest him. The only stumbling block would be the transfer budget

We can't commit to signing anyone until we get a few people off the books
howfin
Quote Neil Lennon told his Celtic players they are not on holiday yet after they drew a blank against Hibernian. The Scottish Premiership leaders moved nine points ahead of Rangers with four games remaining, the first of which is at home to Kilmarnock on Saturday. The former Celtic captain, put in charge until the end of the season after the departure of Brendan Rodgers to Leicester, has yet to lose in his nine games in charge and guided the club to a 3-0 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final the previous week. However after a goalless draw against Livingston, he was far from pleased with what he witnessed in Leith. “It was very frustrating, from quality players across the board,” said Lennon, who said the left-back Kieran Tierney could be out for the rest of the season with a hip and pelvis problem. “I don’t know if there is anxiety there but there shouldn’t be. We need to approach the start of games as well as we did last week but we didn’t today and allowed Hibs to get a foothold. “If you are going for the title, the holidays aren’t here yet. Forget about the noise out there – ‘You can win it here, you can win it there’ – you have to win the game and that’s what’s angering me, because we are up and down at the minute. “The attitude of some of the players is not making me happy but I have told them what I expect from here on in. We looked lackadaisical, lacked physicality at times, energy and quality. I am not getting panicky or anxious about anything. We are dictating our own destiny here and we have to dictate it a bit better than we did in the last two league games. On Tierney, the manager said: “He is seeing a specialist on Thursday. He is in too much discomfort to play. We will have to go with what we are advised by the specialist. He has played for quite a while but he has got to the point where he is in too much pain.” It was another fine result for Paul Heckingbottom, who replaced Lennon at Hibs in February and who has also yet to lose in nine league games, although Celtic knocked them out of the Cup. Ofir Marciano made several key saves during an open game but it was far from one-sided. “I’m disappointed we didn’t win but really pleased with long parts of the game, which is what we are about and how we want to play,” Heckingbottom said. “I’m delighted for the players, proud of them.” I love how NL seems to be blaming the players, which for sure is partially true, but also not taking any accountability for his own poor decisions on Easter Sunday.
