Overview Of Win-A-Beest

Journey to the African plains, home to the majestic Wildebeest; watch as they stampede across this action-packed payway’s slot. It’s time to unleash the ‘beest! Play’n’Go have kindly given me early access to one of their latest slots, it’s called Win-A-Beest and it’s due to be released on the 23rd July 2020 so let’s jump in and see what it’s all about.

Slot Description

Win-A-Beest is what PlaynGo call a payway’s slot which is the same as a 243 way slot where you have no lines, it’s played on a 2-4-4-4-2 grid layout and this layout will expand into a 5×4 layout during special features. The style and theme of the game are designed to recreate the atmosphere of the African plains, home to many animal species, namely the Wildebeest!

The Beest Mode feature can be randomly triggered on any spin. Once triggered, the reels will expand to 5×4 for a single spin and only Wildebeest, Wilds or Scatters will land on the grids ( leaving spaces where the other symbols would have been), and then any payways will pay out.

If 3 or more Scatters land on the grid during Beest Mode, this will activate Beest Mode Spins! Rather than getting a single spin, players will receive multiple spins with Beest Mode active throughout each spin. Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters, will grant 4, 6 or 8 Beest Mode Spins.

Landing three or more Scatters during the base game will trigger Stampeding Spins, the game’s free spin feature. 3, 4 or 5 Scatters will give players 8, 12 or 20 free spins respectively. During Stampeding Spins the reels will expand, transforming the game into a 5×4 grid and Beest Mode will still be active which can also lead to Beest Mode Spins within the free spins!

The Multiplier Wild can land in any game mode and it can also have a 2x multiplier attached, these multipliers will multiply each other if there are more than one and the maximum billed win is 10,240x your total bet!

Win-A-Beest Paytable

The paytable in Win-A-Beest is dynamic and changes with your stake in real time, so what you see is what you get, starting with the lower paying symbols first we have the J’s and Q’s paying 1x your stake for a full way and K’s and A’s pay slightly more at 1.5x.

Now moving on to the premium symbols we have the Leopard and Rhino paying 3x your stake for a full way and the Lion and Elephant pay 3.75x stake for the same.

Of course in reality all these symbols are really just to keep you ticking over in the base game, the symbol you’re looking for is the Wildebeest in beast mode and to fill the screen with some 2x wilds thrown in for good measure, thats how the maximum potential win is realised!

Final Thoughts On Win-A-Beest

Win-A-Beest has a default RTP of 96.12% and I’d put it in the higher end of medium variance even though the max win is still very respectable for that volatility. The random feature and main feature both triggered in under 100 spins which enforces the lower volatility indicated by Play’n’Go.

The game sadly does come with 5 RTP profiles, these are 96.12%, 94.21%, 91.20%, 87.22% and 84.22%, to ensure you’re always playing on the top profile of 96.12% I would recommend playing at 21casino as they only use the highest RTP profiles for all slots and this makes a huge difference to expected play time which you can read more about on the forum here.

As always, thanks for reading and good luck if you’re having a punt.

When games have an RTP of 96% you have a realistic chance of winning. Any lower and you might as well throw the money away. Therefore it is paramount that you know which RTP you are playing . For that reason I give the review a good report but the game is a big NO NO . Providers should be encouraged not to rape the punters wallets …..so we should boycott games with lower than 96% RTP.

If we accept low RTP as a norm ,the providers will just sneak lower and lower RTP profiles and we will be forced to stop playing ,as there is no value. Better to boycott the providers now and let them lose our custom . After all we provide the money . If more people got together and didi this we would not have such blatant greed.
