Overview Of Planet Fortune
Planet Fortune is a new release from PlaynGo, I was playing it recently and I thoroughly enjoyed it so I thought its my duty to do a review and share this great new slot with you all. The game has a retro life on mars theme and some interesting features, the graphics are clean and pleasing to the eye and the sounds fit in perfectly, there’s also space crystals as an added bonus, click here to see my obsession with them, anyway lets jump in and get zapping!
Planet Fortune has a 5 reel by 4 row setup with 40 fixed payline’s, during the basegame there is a feature called magnetic mayhem where 2 or 3 adjacent reels expand together forming mega symbols in blocks of 4 or 9 symbols, basically like a join up in Netent’s Twinspin. You also have every picture symbol stacked on all reels in blocks of between 2 and 4, this gives the potential for multiple wins of the same symbol and with 40 lines these can add up to decent wins as I found out when I played it!
The main feature of the game is awarded if you land 3 or more of the robot scatters which also double as the wild symbol, upon landing 3 or more of these they stick in there position and you win 10 freespin’s. When the freespin’s start, the wilds slide to the left and as more wilds land they also stick and move a position to the left until they reach reel 1 and then fall off. I would say that Planet Fortune uses a different reel set for the freespins as the robots are a different colour and seem to land almost every spin so this is a definite plus point!
Planet Fortune Paytable
The paytable on Planet Fortune is dynamic and adjusts in real time as you change bet size, the below is based on a £1 spin to keep it simple. Working from the smallest up we have the 10 and J symbol’s paying 1.25x for 5 of a kind and the Q, K and A symbols paying 2.5x, these frequently dropped in and although they aren’t stacked there were plenty of them on the reels to keep your balance healthy.
Moving onto the premium symbols we have the blue gem paying 5x, the red space crystal at 7.5x, the space lady at 12.5x and the hero of the slot with his laser gun paying 18.75x, the top symbol is the wild and it was a nice surprise to see it pay a premium for a wild line rather than just substituting for the top symbol. The top win available is 2500x your stake and I’m more than happy with that as a tradeoff for it’s frequent base game wins.
Final Thoughts On Planet Fortune
Planet Fortune has an RTP of 96.50% and I would class it at the higher end of medium variance with frequent wins and decent potential, the sounds and graphics were great and although it has a fairly simple mechanic it does it perfectly and kept me entertained while spinning. I’v put a screenshot of a bonus I had below, I had just 2 good spins from 10 and I was well over 200x my stake! I’m quite happy to recommend this slot and there’s a link below if you fancy seeing if you can beat my win, thanks for reading and as always good luck with your spins!
