REVIEW – Netent Swipe And Roll

Overview Of Swipe And Roll

This latest offering from Netent is set in a 50’s American diner with a retro rock n roll soundtrack to match, I was keen to test it and see if Netent have upped there game or if it’s as poor as the low paying cluster pays slots they’ve bombarded us with for too long! So grab yourself a hamburger and a coke float, stick a penny in the jukebox and let’s get to it!

Slot Description

Swipe and Roll has a 5 reel by 3 row setup and you play on a fixed 20 paylines. The slot has a very simple feel to it which fit’s the theme perfectly, it reminds me of a fruit machine with its curved reels and fruit symbols and the backing music add’s to the overall retro vibe. The game has 2 base game features and one main feature, the first of these is called wild re-spins where you get a free re-spin if you land 3 wilds anywhere on the reels. The wilds can be standard or 3x on the middle 3 reels and they multiply each other if you get more than 1 just like the multipliers do in  Raging Rhino giving you the potential for a 27x multiplier and maximum win of 8100x your stake!

The second feature is the coin wheel which randomly appears in the base game before any spin completes and it takes you to a very simple single wheel that can land on a coin win, a scatter symbol or an arrow. The scatter awards the main feature and the arrows award the amount above and below giving you a bit more than a single coin win. The max you can win on this feature is 1080 coins which is 54x your stake.

Swipe and Roll Paytable

The main bonus is similar to the coin wheel but you get 3 reels and spin each one individually, the minimum you can win on this is 60 coins which is 3x your stake and the maximum you can win is 4320 coins which is 216x stake. You cannot get the scatter symbol or retrigger.

Swipe and Roll Paytable

Swipe And Roll Paytable

The paytable is fixed and based on coin value, the 3 low paying symbols pay between 1x and 1.5x for a full line but all symbols are stacked so you quite often see near full screens of these and of course there is the potential for a 27x multiplier on top of each line.

Swipe and Roll Paytable

The premium symbols pay 4x for plums, 7.5x for oranges and 15x for melons. The wilds don’t pay a premium and just substitute any symbol, the max win would be 3 stacked melons on the first and last reel and 9 of the 3x wilds on the middle reels, this would pay 8100x your stake which is quite remarkable for a slot that for the most part feels like its low to medium variance at most.

Final Thoughts On Swipe And Roll

Swipe and Roll has an RTP of 96.35% and I’m going to put it in the medium variance category although with a max win potential of 8100x it could well turn out to be higher variance, only time will tell as more people report there experiences playing it. During the time I played it I’m quite surprised to say I enjoyed it, I’v become accustomed to the newer Netent releases being horrible compared to older title’s we all love from them like Dead or Alive but this was a lot of fun. If you fancy a trip to this diner there’s a link below and as always thanks for reading my ramblings!
