Overview Of Break Da Bank Again
In this review I’m going to look at an old slot that’s still a favourite amongst players, Break Da Bank Again by Microgaming. This classic 9 line slot was one of the original high variance machines that gave player’s the chance to win a decent amount of money from stakes as low as 9 pence and it’s often used as a last chance by players to recover a balance after a losing session on other slot’s, I know this as I am one of those players!
Slot Description
Break Da Bank Again is a 9 line slot with a 5 reel by 3 row setup and 1 main feature, this feature is that the wild symbol multiplies your win by 5x in the base game and a whopping 25x in the free spin feature! The aim of the game is to land 3 or more of the vault scatters to start the free spin feature, you can win 15, 20 or 25 free spins for 3, 4 or 5 scatters respectively, during the free spins you get an extra spin for any scatter that lands and a 25x multiplier for any win that contains the wild symbol, this is where the true potential lies!
Break Da Bank Again Paytable
Being an older slot the paytable is not dynamic and takes a bit of calculating to work out whats on offer so let’s take a look. The values shown are multiples of the coin amount and these then have to be calculated by amount of coins but unless your good at maths this can be a chore to workout so let me do it for you! The 10 and J pay 5.5x your total stake for a full line, the Q and K pay 7.7x and the Ace pays a straight 10x for 5 of a kind.
Onto the premium symbols we have the gold coins awarding just over 22x for 5 of a kind, the cheque pays 55x, the stack of notes comes in at 83x, the gold bars at 111x and finally the gem which as the most valuable symbol pays just over 166x for a full line. Now in my experience these premium symbols very rarely land as a 5 of a kind without a wild on 1 of the winning reel positions which instantly multiplies those amounts by 5 which makes all of them over 100x and up to 833x for the gem!
Get the top symbol on a full line in the bonus with a wild and you win 4166.5x your total stake which even by todays standards is a huge win, the best part is where this game is fairly old I have seen these sorts of wins many times from other players and although the potential is not up there with the new super high variance slots like Extra Chilli it’s nice to know it can actually reach it’s potential and does so fairly regular.
Final Thoughts On Break Da Bank Again
Break Da Bank Again has an RTP of 96% and it’s firmly in the category of higher variance. The slot has a very simple mechanic but at the same time that makes it all the more rewarding, you see a wild landing in a winning combination during the feature and you know straight away you have a nice win, in fact I challenge any player to not be excited when those 3 scatters land as every time they do you never know if it’s going to be the big one!
Although saying that, I must mention that I’v seen Rocknrolla get a bonus on this slot and get absolutely nothing but then Iv also seen him get some great wins on it too so it comes with the higher variance territory and gives this slot it’s character. Overall this game will always be in my list of games I play and if you fancy giving it a spin there’s a link below, as always thanks for reading and get the fudge in there!
