MrUKHackz
GAMSTOP has now gone live, you can use this to self exclude yourself online, it is new so there may still be some operators that it doesn't block. However it is free and a step in the right direction from the governing bodies for gambling https://www.gamstop.co.uk/
PieGamble
I agree it's a step in the right direction, however, it's massively massively disappointing it doesn't cover all online casinos. If there is one thing a problem gambler can and will do - it is seek out those not currently covered. And actually looking at the list of companies it does cover....there are quite a lot not covered. They've had years to get this setup and I expected better.
Guest Miller26
Apparently the casinos that have not signed up already have a deadline until the end of the year . At least we now know which casinos are serious about responsible gambling and those which are not .
Guest
Not quite sure why they would release it with an incomplete list.
Guest
Theres some major companies missing by the looks of it too. For example; Betfred (betfred.com, totesport.com) William Hill (williamhill.co.uk) White Hat Gaming (21casino.com etc)

Could be any of us.
david1111
@Markymark My take on the whole responsible gambling thing is that the companies are doing what they do because quite simply they are being forced to. The UKGC will make it compulsory in the not to distant future to join the scheme. They have to be seen to be taking a keen interest. On the flip side, they are gambling companies, they want our business and they want us to lose. Why wouldnt they ?

Wouldnt actually surprise me if Hills and BetFred are on there too if they are owned by someone else. On a sidenote I really wish the UKGC would do the really logical thing of... 1 license = 1 online casino.

Ah well. To be honest anyone that uses it and then goes to search out casinos missing from the list, probably deserves to lose their money. People would be better off fixing their problem (via therapy and so forth) as opposed to trying to temporarily deny it an outlet and I say temporarily as theres always other ways to gamble..
