Hi and Help

Hi all hope everyone is having a great day!

Looking for advice, I have a gambling problem and use YouTube channels etc to feed the need. I get it keep me involved but it helps.

However, last night I had a drink (first time in 3 years) and I seemed to have signed up to an online casino (correct name, email, DOB) but I have used my old address.

Do I have anyway of being able to request the deposits back? I know I am in the wrong but I signed up to GamStop in August as things have gotten out of control.

The money was to pay off debts that were caused due to gambling.

Thanks all!

Was it a UK casino that you signed up to?

In all probability, the chances of getting the money back are virtually non-existant. You could try contacting them and explaining the situation and that they should have flagged you as being on Gamstop and they may send the money back, but I will say that they will probably tell you to jog on.

As @Aarongeorge1989 has said (correctly), even if you had won off the deposit they would not have paid you out anyway.

Realistically, its a hard case of learn from it/don't do it again. It's shit, but it's the way it is.

Ironic thing is if he had won they would have confiscated the winnings and possibly returned the deposits.

Depends who he signed up with

Thinking about it, the only way he may have a chance is if he has self-excluded from the casino and has signed up under a sister site (if that makes sense).

Yeah it does. We've heard different stories of some getting deposits returned, but it's a lottery. @Danspear who did you sign up with

Hi all,  it was with Kong Casino they are operated by Jumpman Gaming under a UK license.

@david1111

So, if you google jumpman and click on the search result that takes you to jumpmanexlusions, it lists all of the sites they are affiliated with. The big question is have you ever self-exlcuded from any of the sites on this list and if so, is that exclusion still in place at the moment.

I have just taken a quick look at the T&C's for kong casino (i am in work so trying to multi task lol) and it clearly states:

Self-exclusion means that you will not be able to play any of our Games during the term of your exclusion. This measure will be applied to all accounts you hold with Jumpman Gaming within 24 hours. This means you will not be able to access or register to any of our sites during the time of your exclusion

You need to check if you have signed up and excluded from any of the sister sites and then post in here and we can advise further
