BIG-D
It seems like the majority of people are slowly shifting towards crypto casinos for numerous reasons including reduced KYC, higher limits, wider range of games available, bonus boys etc. But how safe are they? I have been involved with crypto currency for over 10 years so have always had various crypto wallets and only recently used some of my crypto to gamble. I played at BC.game the deposit & withdrawal process was pretty quick, a little bit long winded compared to just using a debit card but that is to be expected with blockchain / crypto. Despite the large fees, so far I have no complaints. But I am just curious regarding the safety of these ? Has anybody experienced any issues with withdrawing winnings when playing on a VPN? My experience was smooth and profitable but was this just a one off? If I deposit/withdraw larger amounts will I be KYCd and lose funds as a result of playing with a VPN? Similarly, it would be great to here some recommendations for tried and tested casinos that U.K. players have had good experiences at when using a VPN. howfin
Sadly you are always at risk of getting fucked. You might get away with it for a while, or you might get reamed after the first deposit, it's impossible to say. Ive been using crypto sites for a few years and never had an issue. But, don't let that make you think you're safe. If you have the choice always play on UKGC Casinos.

It's a great attitude to play with, ie, you play at your own peril knowing that you probably will get shafted at some point. Everyone should take note if they decide to risk the dark side and don't come back crying when it all goes pear shaped
Danger
@BIG-D The answer to your question is just like the slots, it's luck of the draw. From reading some of the other casino forums, there is a trend that KYC is now being enforced (and I keep seeing the casino you mention coming up). More rigorous KYC requirements for those using the Master Gaming Licences from Curacao kicked in on 1 September, 2023, so it is becoming the norm. Put it this way, I wouldn't want to win big and then have to stress about KYC documents I can not provide. As it is, dealing with any Curacao only licensed casino regardless of whether you are in a prohibited country or not has limited fall back for complaint to regulatory authorities outside Curacao. I think there is another layer coming with all of this now - it appears that quite a few crypto walletts are now asking questions regarding sending funds to external wallets to casinos (crypto.com/coinbase/cryptopay) all now asing for receipts name/country of wallet etc. under money laundering checks. andywilliams11872
Interestingly just had an email from crypto.com stating: Just logged into the app, went to make a deposit as a test, and was greeted with this: If they are going to start with this across crypto wallets, then this callsign won't be using them anymore (not for gambling, but any transactions) as I don't really want them sending info to the taxman. The taxman and I have a very good understanding (I won't claim fuck all benefits wise, but you leave me well alone you robbing twat). It's worked well for a while lol

howfin
Rolla was saying last night on his stream that it takes him hours to deposit into crypto. I've never had any problems before, but the last week or so my card has been blocked twice for trying to buy crypto. Not sure if its relevant or if they've tightended transactions from UK banks, but its annoying as fuck having to sit through a fraud call listing that you spent £34 at asda and a round of drinks for £60 at ashleys titty bar

They ask 3000 questions including are you under duress, why don't you transfer it, are you sure you want to have cash, whats your dogs cousins goldfish called. Get one wrong and then it gets even harder. End of the day it's my money, if I want to empty my accounts and set it on fire in front of them, then its my decision and no one else should be able to stop me

''MOST'' of today's Casino streamer ''PIMPS'' don't care about that, they all have lifestyles that need funding & feeding, at whatever cost.

While some players use VPNs to access casinos restricted in their country, it's essential to follow the casino's terms and conditions. Some casinos may require KYC verification for larger withdrawals, regardless of whether you use a VPN or not. For recommendations, you might want to check out from reputable sources. Decided as I do these days to cut and run, withdrew crypto and a messaged popped up saying duplicate account detected and the casino were pocketing my winnings. Set my alarm and went to bed, messaged popped through 10 minutes later saying my crypto had been received. bigogtripleoggg
Old thread but can I just say, the whole crypto casino hate is so bewildering to me. I've been "scammed" out of 100s of thousands by playing on archaeic sites with withdrawal limits and processing times that make dial up internet speed seem fast. Any experience I've had with crypto casinos have been how it should be. At most, a 5 minute KYC process, and it doesn't matter if I want to withdraw 10k, 50k, 100k+ (yes, done this), it's all been back into my wallet very quickly. Currently, I'm dealing with one of those dinosaur sites that you guys all rave about, and I'm stuck with a 30k balance waiting over 2 days now just to get less than a quarter of that processed through. If I'm not getting my leg pulled, I'm looking at 2 weeks of wait time to get all my money. Not to mention dealing with reversing withdrawals and the dangers of that.
