Guest Fudge
I've heard about these for a long time, but never quite understood the point of them. I'm talking about pppoker, pokerbros, etc. Does anyone have inside info about these? Why would I trust my money to some anonymous fellow rather than play on any other poker platform? Guest Fudge
Actually, I wouldn't mind joining one if someone like hackz organized one .
crazyrightmeow
I played on pppoker and pokerbros and few others. The point of them is that you dont have to deal with poker sites\casinos and can play on them even from countries that you cannot usually on "regular" sites. The owners control the rake, who can play in those games etc. It all started with high stakes players and then evolved to all stakes. That is how it started with the clubs and they are quite popular in asian market but most of them are now operating like normal poker sites. I only played on ones I was guaranteed to get my money back from the affiliate if anything would go wrong. I would not play on any random ones I dont know because Its too easy to get cheated with multiple people playing against you etc. If you are not in a "circle" with some people that are in the club and if you are not lets say in US or any other country you cannot play usually I would not bother with them and stick to pstars\winamax\gg\partyp.... ColourMeUp
Pros- soft games, fast cashouts, high rake back deals available Cons- unregulated, collusion is rife, need to be able to trust the agent who handles the money. My advice, find a trusted established club, deposit an amount you're not worried about losing, try and run it up, cash out, repeat.

HenryOsborn606
Trusting your money to anonymous platforms can feel risky. I remember being curious about those too, but hesitated for the same reasons. It's like stepping into the unknown, right? But hey, if you ever decide to give them a shot, it might be worth starting small and seeing how it goes.
Solario333
Oversight , Probity , and general financial structuring of all online poker depends on the owner of the software and the integrity of the game. So far only greed has been in evisdence , regardless of who owns and runs all poker on this planet . Until a member only , no profit game , land based and with honest dealers is set up i cant see the point . there are a few games in London but the reputation of the games is not good . Corruption is rife . what a shame …. such a fun game …..

Slotify
Online poker is full with bots, colluders and even super-users. GGpoker recently admited having super-users. You can still win, but you have to hunt the tables for recreational players. I'm done with online poker, only live for me.

I do not play hardly any online poker nowadays as I do not agree with the software that players are allowed to use and also all the bots . technology moves so fast that the average Joe has no chance if he is in a bent game 1
