Conners06
I’m wondering has anyone ever had problems with withdrawals from Mr green? I’ve been playing on there platform for well over a month now, everything verified and now on my first withdrawal there looking for Source of Wealth? Surely source of wealth should be asked for before a deposit is made? It’s been a few days now still nothing back with no contact number
david1111
@Conners06 SOW normally kicks in when your deposits reach a certain threshold. If you've nothing to hide just send them what they request and you should be fine. It is a pain in the arse and very intrusive which is why they don't do it from the outset and people would just walk away. They always ask for it after a withdrawal request as they know you have little choice other than to send it so you're withdrawal can be processed Edited March 9, 2023 by david1111

ISlot
if you play from UK you agree to do a credit check on their T/C same as William hill Unibet all they do credit check not sure why they ask u for SOW, if you refuse SOW they pay you, and close your account not sure way you playing on mr green RTP is very bad Edited March 9, 2023 by ISlot
Conners06
Thanks for the replies, just frustrating how it’s taken days for them to approve the withdrawal, when it takes a second to deposit, I find it very unfair and can be damaging to people with the option to cancel withdrawal
Conners06
Sorry to keep writing, but from reading reviews regarding mr green site and people not getting withdrawals I’m getting quite concerned? Any recommendations what my next step should be? I haven’t heard anything from the company itself apart from I just have to wait for an email

Can you go on live chat with them to check the status.

And they also don’t even have a contact number, which for a company owned by William hill I find it crazy! I’ve read numerous reviews and 99% of them have not got their withdrawals which is extremely worrying, especially after large deposits! I don’t really no what to do

I don’t really no what to do I feel your frustration, but if its only been a few days it's not that long. The reviews are usually from disgruntled punters who haven't got paid for a particular reason. If all your documents are in order they won't have a reason not to pay

I don’t really no what to do You will definitely get your money, if its been put back in your playable balance go to the responsible gaming tools and put a loss limit of £1 on so you can't blow it back in frustration. The only people who don't get paid are those on gamstop or those that are committing fraud and that's at any casino so don't worry.
Conners06
I’m back again, I understand people have said to be patient but I’m just getting the same lies from the live chat saying it’s waiting on approval and it’s been 4 days now? Has anyone any advice what to do? The withdrawal is thousands less then what I’ve deposited so it’s not as if I’ve over won on the site! And with no contact number only live chat I’m very limited, do I use a solicitor?

Personally I would sit tight for another week and if you still haven't heard then try and get an email for someone more senior who can give you a definitive answer

Stop with the drama and solicitors mate, this is standard practice in online casinos these days. Just wait and if you sent everything they asked you will get your money as soon they verify everything.
Solario333
@Conners06 why are you ignoring all our advice , running around like a headless chicken !! We have all had the experience you are currently going through and share your frustration but casinos dont care tuppence for your time , they just take a long as possible to return the winnings . There is no choice when you dance with the devil ......... you must wait and wait and eventually you will be paid out .

VillaLad
I’m surprised nobody has mentioned that they shouldn’t be asking for SOW just because they’re requesting a withdrawal. It’s ok people saying “it’s just standard practice” yeah it might be standard but it shouldn’t be cause it’s against the terms which they get a license to operate. How sad really that everyone just accepts it

How sad really that everyone just accepts it Yeah but I can’t say no to the SOW check and ask for my funds because they would refuse it surely?? The sad part is, my one win and withdrawal is over £10k less then what I’ve lost, once I make a withdrawal attempt it’s SOW check! People have said that’s standard for casinos but I feel it’s completely wrong and unfair to not ask for it after a certain amount of deposits and not when someone is trying to make a withdrawal, but everyone seems to just go along with the casinos rules! When signing up and sending documents it’s done within minutes, when trying to verify a withdrawal it takes weeks, that’s not standard casino it’s wrong! And I can cancel the withdrawal that’s pending and gamble again (which I won’t)!!! The bookies always win
crazyrightmeow
Like we said million times let me repeat again. It is not casinos fault for SOW checks but UKGC and idk who else in UK. This is why UK people constantly have to do these checks on basically every UKGC casino now. I never had to do SOW check no matter how much deposits\withdraws I did and still do and I played and still play on some of the casinos you guys are playing just because I am not from UK. On Mr.green I didnt even have any verification and I got 6k cashout over night and after the next cashout they requested the basic verification. Casinos dont want to bother with this shit but they have to for certain countries because regulators are pushing them and they get fined if something goes wrong with someone. Also they do these checks when you withdraw because there are so many players that would be costing them a lot of money and work force to do it every time someone opens an account, so it is the easiest way to do it that way and also why would they need to check if there is no money going out.
