The Biggest Pot in American TV Poker History! Eric Persson vs Patrik Antonius

The amount of money he has he does not give a single fuck probably. Would be nice to be at that level of wealth.

I watched that earlier and Persson's  lack of understanding that he was drawing dead was shocking . I know the guy has a lot of money and it is a fraction of his wealth  but it is  terrible that he sits down in those games .  I see him in a lot of live streams as well.  It is alright saying he has a lot of gamble nut those guys  always do fortunes as they do not understand when to take the risks.   I am happy to see Antonius win  a nice hand like that but look out for the usual vultures try and get into those games (with outside backers funding them)  just to get a piece of Persson's losses.

It was the same with Jamie Gold when he won all that money in the WSOP  and they took it all off of him in cash games.

I have to say my favourite comment on the video was they guy that said Antonius showed class in not asking him how many times he wanted to run it !  ( I know that it was pre agreed that all hands would only run once)

It is how you get big pros to join the games that people want to see and creates insane action and fun to watch. It is a win for the stream, viewers and the poker in general. Without people like him no one would make money in poker. This is how poker eco system works. Also 99.9% of pros you see playing on streams have backing for big games, that is pretty much normal.

Even tho people are making fun of business guys\wealthy people like Persson who joines these games, they are the real ballers and winners in life since they have hundreds of millions on the bank account and play these games just for the egos and fun.

These guys soon get fed up handing over the big money though and move on which is why there is a feeding frenzy to take this guys money why they can.

He will be in these games for the long hall I am sure. He is not as bad as you might think from this hand alone as well. He is playing poker in Aria and big homes games around Vegas and California for 10yrs+ from what I understand so It is not like he is a whale that just happened to come play high stakes. He took advantage from the Hellmuth situation when he got traction online. Now he joins streams since people want to see him play so he gets invites all over the place because of his aggro play style and his insane speech plays that almost no one in poker has and viewers are loving it.

Like everywhere else on youtube or TV drama and loud people bring viewers and these kind of garbage came to poker streams as well. Thats why people love to watch players like hellmuth who was ahead of his times imo. With his blowups and drama and knew years before any other player how to create an image and make a huge business out of it and make serious money in poker industry not just by playing. Persson is doing similar thing now basically, you cant imagine how much money can you make as long as you have an audience who likes you and follows you and know how to take advantage of that.

Pearson owns some ridiculous amounts of casinos in the US and is an arrogant wanker.

Have watched a lot of the Huslter streams with him playing and losing millions.

Only thing I liked was when he  gave so much shit to Phill Helmuth.

He is down almost a million on hustler over the 6 streams he played. He is annoying to watch for me as well. Even the Hellmuth situtation was painful to watch and not even funny imo.

I'd seen this guy play a few times and assumed he had hustled his way up through the scene. Genuinely had no idea that this guy was an extremely wealthy multi casino owner because nothing about this man exudes business accumen or savviness.

He will happily exchange heavy losses in exchange for being known and seems to demonstrate narcissistic traits in my opinion. Good luck to those who stand to benefit I suppose. But just another transfer of wealth from the losers - albeit in a slightly longer chain.

As far as I am concerned the whole poker scene is OBSCENE .    Too much money in the hands of too few people .......... the rich get richer and the people pay .......  a different world for the 2%  ......  and all because of the huge power of global TV and advertising which provides the revenue for all .

And we all pay daily in our shopping to support this ludicrous greed .   the big money game is just too far beyond the reasonable level of income we need , and is therefore totally obscene.

and I love poker ........
