Gkell727 6,382 Posted September 8, 2022 Looks like she’s finally popped her clogs. What a fantastic legacy she leaves. That of Colonialism, massive wealth and greed, Nazi’s, Racism, interbreeding and paying off her molesting son’s victim.

Mad Slasher McGurk 7,349 Posted September 8, 2022 I wonder if old Betty has a "A do-not-resuscitate" notice at the foot of her bed like they slapped on all the oldies without their knowledge over the last couple of years. 3

Gkell727 6,382 Posted September 8, 2022 Please be respectful when talking about the Queen. She was a head of state, a monarch, a mother to multiple *BANNED WORD*s and most importantly a devoted cousin to her husband

philinvicta 11,269 Posted September 8, 2022 I see they abandoned not only the racing today and tomorrows meetings are also off in the UK but also the PGA at Wentworth and there is talk of the football being off at the week end as well. I am a supporter of Queen Elizabeth but she was 96 years old it was hardly a shock and surely not something that everything has to shut down for. I understand for her funeral but to make this go on for days is madness. I mean they did not take long in coming out and saying Charles is now king. We are always told life goes on and would not get too much time off when we lose a 96 year old relative
philinvicta 11,269 Posted September 8, 2022 I have just seen on the Racing Post website they said when previous monarchs died every thing was cancelled until after the state funeral

We are always told life goes on and would not get too much time off when we lose a 96 year old relative I should imagine that the biggest reason that they postpone such events is for policing reasons. With all the people that will gather at the Palaces, all the different memorials, commemorative events and such that will be taking place the police force will be stretched thin. Mad Slasher McGurk 7,349 Posted September 9, 2022 Charles had better dial back on his WEF Build Back Better routine, it was him that came up with this. He's not as well liked as Betty was and it could end the monarchy if he's not careful.
