Yea i know, especially as ive sent in alot of docs that were perfectly in order really. how would i know? cause ive done this crap over and over and over haha. Yea i wonder how long it would take.... 1 day? 1 week? 1 year? place your bets please..... hahaha

Well, I don't really know what Unibet are like, I suspect they are not as bad as most of the shithouse Maltese casino's at least. I would hazard a guess that while this situation feels of great magnitude to you, as it should, as its your money., to them its a minor case that they have another 10, 50, 100 identical cases lined up in a queue slowly being chipped away at (as they no doubt have an understaffed SOW department).

I'm not sure you would get it, I'm sure I've seen a casino rep say they can withhold the money

It's not any of your casinos @L&LJan but do you know what happens in these situations where SOW isn't completed by the customer but there's money on the account?

curious about this too, he will probably know!

im shocked. Got a text this morning from the accountmanager, someone woke up apparantely. Got paid in full, but a business decision was made not to have my custom anymore. Basically exactly what i said then.... but sad that they had to do it this way, but yea - i got paid and i guess thats what counts. More than enough other casinos left eh.

any chance that bank statements provided to them show incoming transactions from 3rd parties on your account? That causes most of the problems to complete a SOW.

During SOW, or after, the responsible gaming team is often involved as well. That can cause more request for supporting documents as well.

Yea, but isnt it a bit taking the p!ss when its only amounts like €50 to cover the dinner or smth? Like its not that someone alone sent hundreds, or even thousands. Not even remotely close..

I think it was all about affordability checks in this one, at least thats what i was told. If i can prove that thats all good then whats the issue i wonder. But ohwell. Its sorted but it isnt right at all really..

The problem here is that during assesments with the authority, they asked if we have investigated if those funds received were "clean". If the operator has to answer: No. That will result in a recommendation.

We only do so, if its obvious and clear that if 3rd party funds were received and later used on our end, we require the 3rd parties bank statement. If it is obvious the funds are not used on our site, no investigation is neccessary.

And as always, each operator decides on their own risk appetite, hence SOW procedures which each operator are different.

I get the last bit, ofcourse.

but its ridiculous for someone thats deposited €50,000 in a matter of like 2 months gets bitched around like this, im not sure if its about the 3rd party money but i believe its <€300 what came in and so on. Theres no need to ask me those questions then if i can prove i got very substantial other amounts that cover the money by a million miles.

next up they ask me why i spent £5,49 for a iced latte last month in London… 🤪

Oh and why did you pay €0,70 at the trainstation to take a piss?

i can understand certain stuff, and i know that they need to check their stuff, but it really goes too far sometimes and thats where i draw the line. It shouldnt be allowed that a site like Casumo, where many many people had issues with asks me why i got €25-ish back from my health care insurance, thats none of their business, same with alot of other stuff really.

winning over £2000 UKGC casino high risk of getting 💩 from casinos

I find it easy to refuse SOW here are the rules about SOW

all they can do is report you to NCA if you don't have criminal record they cant do anything about it just pay you

Kind of surprised that no one else said what I-slot just said.  SOW requirements cannot be used to stop or delay withdrawals.

They would want to have strong evidence to report you for AML anyway.

@TheBingoKingxThe reason they have paid you now and are closing your account for business reasons is because you have highlighted that they are clearly in violation of their licence terms.

"50K in 2 months" - Obviously they don't even have the most basic of financial thresholds in place a part of KYC/CDD and EDD measures.

I know - its ridiculous. But i have got screenshots and will report this all to the dutch gaming authority, its not the only thing they've massively breached.

Oh you are based in the Netherlands.  I don't know what their laws are like, but Kindred (Unibet) do have have a licence there.  You would have to check with the KSA

I did Unibet SOW check just for fun to see if they accept me from £1000 pm deposit limit to £500 a day deposit £15000pm

they did ask for a lot of docs all I send my saving my earnings and my investments also a letter from the Bank like a reference of my bank account

2 weeks later they accept it, also did a sow check in January in Mr vegas after 6 weeks they accept it, rest of the casinos I refuse to send SOW checks is just stupid  what they ask, they are also not trained to deal with it they just keep asking for extra so they can shut up UKGC

I would love on a Source of wealth  just to reply that I had found Blackbeard's  hidden treasure and no I am not telling them where it is or to say that I was involved in the Brinks Mat robbery and had some spare loot the police did not take  or best of all just say that my friends know me as "Basil"
