BGD Posted April 15, 2018 Share Posted April 15, 2018 If you gamble a lot, I think its importend to have a budget to make sure you never lose more then you can afford. I only play in land based casino's and fore this I have a budget of 1000 euro/year. If it exceeds 1500 euro, the winnings go to my normal bankaccount. If I lose it all then no more gambling for the rest of the year. I have been wondering how to control your bankroll when you are playing at online casino's? I’ve excluded from loads of online casinos in the past after doing my bollocks in so I could never manage a budget whilst playing slots hence why I avoid them at all costs . As for horses I have pretty much total control. Roughly speaking my budget is about £200 per week but you can never really lose that as you would have to be one unlucky guy . I don't know anyone who gambles that sticks to a strict budget or moreover is actually able to. Maybe you could bottle how you do it and sell it!! On average a person who sets limits at a casino spends on average more than someone who doesn’t . That’s not to say don’t set limits mind . In the past i just tilted, deposit more and bet more. I could not believe i am losing in such horrible way. but then i lose more. In rare cases i manage to get it all back but thats the danger. Will never try again. Just accept u will keep losing 8 out of 10 when you are on losing streak and dont deposit more. Try again when your luck is back. When you are lucky you will win and turn small to big, when you dobt have luck, but tilt you will turn big to zero most of the time. Simple as that. Tilt and greed is what makes you lose, not that much house edge. Without them I would probably continue depositing and just end up self excluding. No serious gambler makes a bet without the joy of the race or slot affecting him/her. if you lose too much it becomes a nightmare.....If you win too much then the value is lost because expectations cause you to become irrational and always go for the BIG ONE....... So in my view its a kind of madness that is fun ,and should be given only an equal time with other pursuits...
