Nah, that was never their intention. I think there will be some kind of a deal soon when Trump takes over. Russia will probably hold on on some cities they took over and that will be the end of this imo.

Trumps promise of delivering peace to Ukraine isn’t looking promising after Ukraines missile strike yesterday. It’s concerning what Moscows retaliation will be as Putin must be seen to retaliate given his repeated threats to the West regarding arming Ukraine with long range missiles. Im surprised Starmer hasn’t given Ukraine his blessing yet after basically begging Biden to do so. The UK media constantly accuse Russia of “sabre rattling”, I fear however that US, UK and French missiles hitting Russian territory will surely lead to an immediate response from the Kremlin which would likely be in the form of a nuclear attack.

That is different from what we were talking about Putin wanting to take over Poland hardman. Of course US bases can be targets no matter in which country they are if they are close to Russia.
You can still have the defense secretary job.

Anyway, what did people expect to happen after shooting rockets into Russia? It was expected for Putin to show power. It was just of a question of what will he use and where\what will be the target.

Could be curtains for the UK hardman as our missiles have also been fired into Russian territory. Only one in Britain surviving this is @MrUKHackz, at least he can shave his beard off and defect to Russia as one of Putins body doubles.

I think both sides are trying to firm up their positions before Trump comes to power and tries to make them stop.  EU will need to step up funding for Ukraine however I reckon he will also tell Putin to get out  or he will step up funding just to get them to the table to talk.

I read that one of the reasons to allow the missiles to be fired into Russia was so that Ukraine could attack troop and munitions build ups further into Russian territory and thus not find it so easy to attack Ukraine.  It will also help them defend the area they have taken in Russia.

At the end of the day this is a huge tragedy for Ukraine  and I guess it has been dragged out to make Russia think twice about attacking any NATO countries in the area.

All Western propaganda outlets are standing by this North Korea involvement narrative yet they haven’t been able to locate a single one.

If these ballistic missiles work as well as Elons space X demonstration the other day then we can all safely in our beds . Seriously though Putin is keen to make a deal and do must Zelensky at this point. It’s time for the Donald to conduct a wise guy sit down and put this shit to bed.
