Broke my new years resolution (already) and decided to have a punt online yesterday. Decided to play at ABC as only account i had left. Bit of a swingy session but ended up with a £5k cashout. Withdrew yesterday evening, had the dreaded source of wealth email this morning. Usually I would not be arsed but I am already fully verified with ABC after jumping through hoops last year. THey are claiming (in live chat) that I need to provide bank statements from the 01/10/21 to 07/01/22 and a copy of my wage slip due to hitting the EDD trigger. I was discussing the matter with someone on livechat who disappeared and now no agents available. 

Wage slip not an issue - bank statements are. I can only provide statements for October, November and December. January's ones don't get produced until the end of January and HSBC can't give me a custom statement. I have been on live chat who were really helpful and basically told me my funds will be held until I can provide the statement. I have sent over a transaction list for January, but it looks like I will have to wait until the end of January to get my money as that will be the only time i can get the full statement for the account. Took my 3k desposits in a matter of seconds. Have to wait potentially a month to get my money.

I'm with hsbc also and had same issue with them, nothing u can do but wait till feb when u get ur next statement

It's ridiculous though mate - both HSBC and ABC. Can't get the statement until end of the month, so ABC get to keep 5k of my money until the end of the month. As soon as this is sorted out im going gamstop and will just play at live casinos going forwards. Wouldn't mind but ive already jumped through hoops for ABC in the past.

Firstly congratulations on the win mate. Good start to the year.

Re the docs they require is it possible from your online banking if you do it to just download your existing transactions which will or should show these dates so you won't have to wait for the actual statement. 

Maybe @L&LJan could help you with it.

They wont accept it mate according to live chat becuase the download transaction list doesnt include my name; just the account number and sort code which is not good enough apparently - its a piss take really. In the past they have already had copies of my bank statements, trading accounts, savings accounts, premium bonds, ISA's and a due dillegence form completed and sent off to them.

Im more pissed off because you can only withdraw 5k max back to card, total balance was 5.2 so i have already played the 200 back through (my fault, just annoyed at myself for it).

This is where people will get totally pissed off with SOW  if every time you play and win you have to provide details again for a period between when you last won and now. 

I thought their was a rule they cannot hold your winnings if they could or should of asked for details before you made a withdrawal.

It really gets my goat that they do not do this when you deposit and  just when you win and use it as an excuse to hold up a pay out.

@andywilliams1187  make sure you do a 30 day time out so you cannot lose it back ,   I tend to find this concentrates their mind to get it sorted

All British is a casino that is promoted here as well so maybe ask @MrUKHackz

Any time is a good time to do Gamstop  but it will feel good to get this sorted and then get your money and activate it after a decent cash out

 

With regards to HSBC  they must know this and should accept statements up to end of December in my opinion  what difference is the 7 days going to make if they have a quarters  statements and have done SOW before

Ah fair enough mate. It will get sorted, it's just a massive pain in the arse.

You can withdraw full balance by bank transfer with them if you're ever in that situation again

Im not too clued up with gamstop mate - was going to join it today but not sure what would happen in the event of a pending withdrawal as technically as soon as i go on gamstop, i wouldnt be able to login to the account (from my understanding) so if they require further docs i would have to wait until the gamstop expired.

Yes from what I have seen do not activate it until it is all sorted that is why I said to do the 30 day timeout.  You cannot upload the statements until  you get them anyway so the fact that you could not access your account for 30 days should not matter.   

Maybe do 21 days to take you close to the end of the month

Thanks for posting Andy, I can make an informed decision not to play at this groups casino if this is their policy. I bank with HSBC too and just seems shithouse behaviour by the casino

Screenshots for January are accepted, we are aware of the producion issue of statements so we accept screenshots of statements that are not issued.

Someone needs to explain this to the customer services guys as they were quite clear with me this morning that I would have to wait until the end of the month. It was only after speaking with someone different they said they "may" accept a screenshot but could not be 100% sure. 

It's also a little bit off mate that i can still deposit. Either I am verified or i am not. Shouldnt be able to not release funds to me but allow deposits to still take place. 

APpreciate you trying to help but after everything ive sent in the past, it's taking the piss a bit (not you personally, just the system)

Yes mate i need to - had a really good run on lightning blackjack but looking through my transacation history the amount wagered is absolutley ridiculous (over 6 figures wagered in last few months). Need a break from it all. I thought my sons reaction (over reactoonz) would snap me out of it but i just end up either logging on at my brothers or playing at silly o'clock in the morning. 

Not ashamed to say that it's got a bit of a grip on me at the moment but i recognise when im getting in too deep. Im actually up quite a bit over the last few months - need to run the numbers properly but its north of 20k. 

I was speaking with @Kev just before christmas and said that im due a huge loss at some point, th amount of lucky escapes i have had is just nuts. Would rather get out now and have a good break before it all goes tits up. Currently looking at getting an extension on the house and i know if im not careful i will do the whole lot in.

Not a bad thing to look back as it gives us a kick up the arse when you see it in black and white.

I joined gamstop to get away from the slots. I thought I would miss it badly and be tempted to go rogue, but that wasn't the case. I didn't have any massive urge because I knew gamstop was final.

It is best if you stop now for sure  get the extension built   spend time with your son and have no regrets .   It will still all be there when Gamstop is over.

If you play live you can restrict yourself by only taking what you can afford to lose,

I would also  get anybody whose account you may be tempted by to put limits in place if it does not affect them too badly.  That way you lose the temptation as @david1111  says.

I have found when you know you are restricted in what you can do  you do not tend to pulled in

Agree with everything you have put mate - weirdly i was speaking to someone on the forum today and they said the same about playing live; leave the cards at home and if you do your bollocks in, at least you have only lost what you went with. 

Local casino has closed down as well so it will be a trip into central liverpool if i want to play which i can't be bothered doing at the moment. It also annoys me that they charge for car parking; even if you are at VIP level it's still £1 to park which really grates on me for some reason lol. 

Only thing that will be difficult will be online poker but im not a massive fan of online anyway.
