For a £100 they asked me for 6 months of bank statements and employments records. Luckily, they processed the withdrawal before asking for it. So obviously, I just never submitted the shit. Either way its scared me enough to not want to play slots any more. Its not that im some big time money launderer but fuck me i dont care what regulations they are following im not submitting my entire life history to some shit online casino

makes me wonder if these guys who have stolen  money just say that they plan to nick a million and can they keep playing !

The irony is the money launderers   normally have no trouble in passing all these checks because they have everything  lined up and ready to go.

it is a disgrace that anybody should be asked to provide  so much information to gamble at a level that is unlikely to do any damage  and yet still when it comes to somebody in real trouble they still manage to ruin themselves.

Im fairly sure its because i was a new customer, deposited £100 and won £450 they asked for it. If I deposited and lost, it would never have been asked for. With the whales, its obviously a lot different as in the long term they know they will win huge. Whereas with the working class, they arnt going to win huge but might just cashout and keep a huge win comapred to their depost. So they inconvienance the masses as there will be a certain % that dont send the required docs due to privacy concerns

That is my point they would not have stopped you from depositing and losing  say a grand   but the minute you withdraw  they decide  to ask for all sorts.  It is also in the rules of their licence that they are not allowed to hold up a withdrawal  if they could of asked  before the withdrawal but they will just act the bollox and say suspicious  source or something even though they know it is nothing of the kind  but  it gives them an excuse to hold the funds.

I also believe they  gambling commission needs to be given all withheld monies so that the casinos have no  reason  to try and act against their customers interest .   A similar thing happened to the dead money  and uncollected slips that bookies used to keep now they have to hand it over.

Probably why they processed my withdraw before hitting me with the bullshit then. Either way though, for a £100 deposit, it seems excessive. I wont mention the casino name but its a well renowned UK operated casino. Can understand if I dropped 10k as a new customer but £100? Fuck me, cant be arsed.

@david1111 It's good to see you back fella. I always worried at your bonanza sessions..£2 a spin on that fucker could bankrupt the Aga Khan, you have returned to the forum with your head held high and I respect you for that. Your a huge presence on the forum my Yorkshire friend, don't hesitate to talk to us all if you have any wobbles in ur recovery.

Emails and text messages from non gamstop casinos is the norm, expect at least two a day every day.. all crooked fuckers so just ignore them.

p.s. change ur avatar back to windy Miller hardman.

I think with most of them who steal it, they talk themselves into the usual gamblers fallacy - "borrow" xxxx from the company, one or two quick spins and put the money back before anyone notices.

Thanks mate. Kind of you to say.

Gamstop in place for 5 years so I know that's that. No way I would go near the dodgy curaçao joints.

Didn't you hear windy miller was assassinated by captain snort whilst he was off his tits

Think I’d probably agree, small sample size but of the people people I know who play slots online the first few big wins is what got them hooked.

I’ve got a friend who’s recently started playing slots, he played the usual in my opinion shit slots so I told him some of the better ones for features RTP potential etc. he’s up 10k or so now from a few hundred, the amount of times I’ve told him to stop because it’s unlikely he will stay 10k up if he plays every day regardless of the stakes, but he won’t have it and now doesn’t tell me if he’s playing where as before he used to. So I kind of feel bad the slots I told him provided a big win because I can see he’s on the path I went down and like myself I’m not sure anyone will stop him until he has a big loss.

I am very pleased to see you back again amongst us all ,David.  We have missed your posts , and look forward to chatting more regularly now.

As regard big wins......Ive had a few ..... 1k-2.5K on small stakes of £1 and 40p and I do think it helps to time out after a big win , and I now do it every time.

I withdraw  80% of the big win and lose the rest over a few days to wind down ...then time out for a week .

Free will is absolute. People must sink or swim by their own mistakes. we can only advise and share our thoughts with them .... a brick wall will soon appear and his decision will be crucial .Then he will need a friend to shape his future wisdom as he learns that greed does not pay .

It certainly takes discipline which you have an abundance of, but that's come from your previous experience and hardships as you have freely discussed.

We all learn or at least try to from our mistakes.

You have a balance which works very well for you so you can enjoy your wins without the risk of wanting more.

Sadly most don't have that. I certainly didn't, but I have accepted that and now trying to move on.

I will hopefully use my experience to help others

My balance was reduced during the pandemic as friends in need trumped my cashflow down from 10k to 2k (and all is well) , but need to be careful since slots have also changed considerably in the last 2 years ... it seems that 1 million to 1 is the new RTP on most slots so I am careful to stay low stake ,or choose less volatile older slots ....

your common sense approach to life is needed here as more new members and existing members need experienced life support from those who are willing to share the day , and the misfortunes of the Gambling world.

we all have something to give , and can learn from others here ..........

I entirely agree ,but of course the Gambling Commission would need huge resources to do this.

Perhaps we could have a UK gambling Card that has all details ,keep like an ID and held by the Gambling commission with a unique number to be used for all verification, sow etc and freely available to all casinos in the uk.

Personally agree 100% with the big wins after my biggest wins a couple of years ago when being nearly on my rs I had a spate of big wins on stakes I would never had been playing at had I not been forced to chase due to madness on my  part,  I think most or all r on the big win section or recorded there .

Just the other week I was looking thru my bank acc and was shocked to see how much I gave back thru carrying on on similar stakes , but custers deed as they say and it was good at the time,  it wasn't all lost and my family lived a  bit better for a wee while but lesson learned , don't think I will ever be in this position again as now when I raise my stakes to over 20p I get cleared out .🤣🤣

Momentary madness is endemic in all gambling . I once lost 20k in a mad 24hours ,some25 years ago and I still remember how stupid I felt trying to prove roulette was not random. 39 losing spins in a row with over 50 percent of the board covered.

I closed my account with the site in question and never played there again,  so it taught me that money is only real when you value it .

hard lesson and not the last but one of many . I have also had many a good meal out by being patient.
