Having already lost a similar amount . That is why you need a huge bankroll to be betting a hundred on the first bet. It is also why bookies will not stop you if thy believe you are using the Martingale system as they know that at some stage you will lose the lot due to the fact of losing runs. You would want a five figure bankroll to even consider starting with a pound bet.
