I've created this so we can bitch or moan about something where we don't feel warrants a thread creating of its own. Obviously this might get lost in the ether if its a daft idea. So mine, the bloody golf. I always put bets on 1st round leader and then overall. Stuart Cink I've backed in every major this year, was 100/1 for 1st round leader, but guess what I didnt bother this time and he's sat nicely in 4th. That would have been £260 back and all my bets paid for. Then there's oostenhuizen. Picked him in the comp on here, he's been flying out the blocks in major this year and is current leading. Did I back him? Nope I didn't have enough cash to put on what I wanted so rather than put on what I had I stuck it on 2 long odds players. Long story short, got up to £490 over a couple of hours but couldn't get to 500. Switched machines and f##king thai flowes rinsed me. 490 with only one tease and not a single win over £5. 15 minutes to take the lot. I know it happens but never seen one that cut throat. I know someone could have won big before me but Im sooo angry, not at losing the £100, not that i could have had 400 odd quid, its the manner it took it. These days if I get within range of a target figure I just cash out and move on cus otherwise what's happened to you happens! Just remember, when you get home, you can always add 10 or 20 quid out of your own pocket to your cash out amount and get to your nice round figure rather than lose the lot. There is a great app I think , it sends you reminders for motivation and also give you tips to manage your mood when you are triggered .... The app is built for alcholics but can be used for any addictions I believe ....
