1pstaker 8,125 Posted April 6 Hello everyone, and welcome to the first event of the TGC Summer Cup, where we will crown a supreme champion of summer sporting events. There are 5 events in total, spread between now and August, and each event will have its own prizes and format to make it as fun and challenging as possible. The top 15 of each event will score points that contribute to the overall Summer league table, and the leader after those 5 events will be determined the winner. Points awarded per event will be as follows: Winner : 50pts Runner up: 35pts: 3rd: 30pts 4th-10th: 20pts 11th-15th: 10pts. If any ties take us beyond the 15th place, those who occupy those positions will also score 10pts. If there is a tie after 5 events in the overall competition, then we will have a countback on the finishing positions in the events to determine the winner. The first event is the Snooker World Championships, 17th April - 3rd May, and the format is as follows. For those of you who remember the darts competition I did, this is the same as that, but with an added caveat that you must bet points on your predictions. I have 10 questions, which I make roughly 50/50 to occur. You need to answer the questions with a simple YES or NO...but now you also have to select a points bet to place on your prediction. You have 10 bets to place, with points going from 10 down to 1. So your most confident prediction you would place 10pts on, and your least confident would be one point, with all those points in between allocated as you see fit.
