Withdrawal? Or not!

Hi was looking for some advice please. I signed up to a casino a year ago have used my card and my girlfriends trustly account registered to her bank account she knows and would be willing to sign or send verification etc that she allowed this. Used both to deposit multiple times hers and mine went to make a withdrawal and they said they have detected a new deposit method well they’ve had reasonable time to do so as it’s not a new payment option I’ve used this 10 times in the last year I checked my transactions they only flag it up so they don’t have to pay i think! I didn’t think this was a problem as I have done this with sky bet no problem and have used that site for years I have now read through t&cs and I have breached there terms I’ve learned my lesson won’t do that again! My bad but surely they should have checked that a year ago not only when I try and get a withdrawal is there any chance or am I up a gum tree?! Thanks

I would say if it's in their t&C's it's not good news.

Unfortunately this situation quite often only comes to light when you try and withdraw

If only he would have bothered to read all 1,175 pages of their terms and conditions this could have been avoided.

Surely there is a link between lack of impartial ombudsman regarding the gambling industry (resolution dispute for players) and the fact that gambling companies have topped the list as Tory donors for several years.

no no forget that I’m being cynical

Thanks for your reply David I thought as much but want to go down with a fight even if I never see the money this is a casino that recently lost there uk licence and then got it back a site that still allows quick spin even though it’s banned so it I can take them down with me I will because they really shouldn’t be allowed to operate I do know it’s my mistake to not read through t&cs but who actually does and your sarcasm gkell727 has actually cheered me up 😂

Why oh why are you using other people’s accounts to deposit?? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Didn’t he say that it’s his card that’s joint to his partners account? Or have I misunderstood. For instance my main account has both mine and my wife’s name attributed to it

not that I’d deposit using that one. My wife would stick what’s left of my balls in her vice like grip

He did occasional deposits from his girlfriend’s Trustly account.

Pelaa?! Sister sites I’m guessing

Ah yes, that’s the one.

Well you won’t take them down they’re part of the Genesis group who are a very large outfit. They didn’t lose their license, it was suspended.

To be honest though even the most reputable casinos would have an issue with using someone else’s account to deposit. That’s a rookie error mate. You may just have to chalk this one off as a lesson learnt.

I think I do have to take the loss 🥲 I know they are a large outfit because I have actually used all there sites 😂 and deposited and not one of them flagged it up 😒 I’ll never use any of them again and I know it’s my bad 🤦‍♂️

I’d offer some sites that don’t have previous for viciously fucking the player over with trivial reasons for non payout.

but alas there isn’t any

Once again T's and C's...so frustrating.

Why do they not say "We will NOT accept a deposit from anything other than your own named card"....Now if someone is stupid enough to put their name to someone elses card then I have no sympathy for them, but casinos should not be allowed to ACCEPT these deposits in the first place, let alone multiple deposits, before the usual happens and you want some of it back and they say " ah you used someone elses card" ..... such a piss take

Most casinos are high minded and reasonably ethical so perhaps the casino will refund all deposits on the grounds they were void.

perhaps not

I do know that Genesis casinos still let you deposit before you complete the KYC process. Perhaps if they complied with this then the issue may have been prevented. That might be worth mentioning. Put the onus on them. Perhaps insinuate you might mention this to the UKGC and they might shit their pants and pay, given that they have previous run-ins.

If you have ever contacted the UKGC like I have then you know this would be a pointless venture unfortunately

I think one of the main reasons my claim was unsuccessful in the beginning with casumo is when the ADR refused to do the right thing I bought a flight to Malta and shared my booking confirmation with the handler and some mild threats. I’d do that if a casino owed me a fiver just for the principle
