Blacko
Not expecting it in a while but could we keep GESH in mind one more time down the line, zero income received during the Covid outbreak. The doors can't open at the moment simply because it's extremely difficult teaching people with varying levels of disabilities about how important social distancing is. I fear the doors may close if there isn't a change in circumstances come February/ March 2021. 1

Sold to the man in the fedora hat with the lovely eyes, how does £1133 sound for GESH? 1

That sounds like an incredible gesture from TGC young man, what a result!. The GESH was founded decades ago by a lady named Maureen Ferrie and her late husband, it's basically a non profit social club run by and for disabled folk in a poor area of Glasgow. The club is so popular that volunteers drive as far as 30 miles away to pick up people who attend their Friday night discos, TGC last donation fixed the bus which was needing significant repairs, Maureen was in tears at the donation as she had no idea how and where they could get their hands on that level of cash. Maureen told me that she is receiving between 60-100 phone calls a week from people asking when they can return to the club, sadly this is not possible until this pandemic comes to an end. The service users want to dance with each other and have fun, try explaining Covid and social distancing to disabled folk who are craving normality just like the rest of us. This donation will keep the door open, it helps immensly. Maureen has agreed to meet myself and @Sgt_bilk0 at the GESH where we will get a few photos for the forum. 3

Blacko
@MrUKHackz Could you remind us how much TGC has given away in total to charity lad?, it might just keep a few folk away from dropping idiotic comments on twitter when they realise what's been achieved so far. I don't have the full amount to hand but we have a spreadsheet with it all in and I have many certificates, infact that's reminded me I wanted to make a thread documenting exactly who got what and when, its got to be close to 200k I'd guess? 5

WOW, make sure you post the full amount on twitter, maybe some streamers could lead by TGCs example. 1

TGC has donated a few quid to this charity so we are currently working towards doing a little forum feature into how the funding has helped them survive throughout this pandemic.
