CASUMO WITHDRAW APPALING FOR BIG WIN

hi there

so basically I put in £1950 total within the last week on casumo. I ended up winning big, 12k to be exact. I was like ok I’m done I want to withdraw. Get hit with ADDITIONAL verification, keep in mind my account was already verified earlier in the year. They asked for source of wealth so I supplied them with bank statements and payslips and because one month I got paid less I explained to them the reason. After this they’ve ghosted for a couple days. No reply. No updates. I submit them previous payslips of the month before to show that I can afford what I put in but all I get from their customer service team is “please wait we are trying our best” and loads of other nonsense. I just want my money and never use this site again

what should I do?

@Jtee99 I would wait for their response.

I don't see any reason why you won't get paid albeit frustrating for you.

I see loads of ways @david1111 it took me 6 months and very expensive solicitors to get my money back. Ecogra and Casumo have to be one of the worst casino and ADR’s I’ve ever seen not including Curaçao etc

@Jtee99 Just go on live chat and ask to speak to someone, you have to keep nagging and nagging, it can be borderline impossible to please them if you're self employed but as you said you had a wage slip then theres no big issue, they are just stalling to be arseholes.

In fact, I'd say they have become the number 1 casino to be known for misusing the SOW checks as a stalling aid, for anyone that doesn't know they will reverse the withdrawal and make it playable until you satisfy there needs, ie lose it all!

Another issue is if you can’t get resolved within a certain period of time they lock your account and you can’t access any of your communication with them. Why people are still gambling with Casumo with all the bad stories I’ve heard I don’t know

I think there should be an investigation made into the relationship between Casino’s and their self appointed ADR’s. I genuinely can’t see any other reason than flat out corruption and back handers being the reason they are so anti player. It is nowhere near as independent as the UKGC make it out to be.

Ok I don’t understand who this howfin guy is so please refrain from mentioning him unless it actually helps my case

i did go to live chat but they keep saying “wait” Is there actually anything I can do

I experienced this last year and I managed to get my £25,000 win. I have some small bits of advice but if you carry on with the snappy remarks I won’t bother pal

I disagree with that bit mate, eCogra maybe but IBAS are a panel of people like you and me, like a jury almost, no incentive to protect the casinos at all.

Ecogra is the only ADR I’ve dealt with so maybe I’ve jumped the gun a bit.

Do I just sit here wait for a reply or should I take legal action? This is just taking the piss and is making me frustrated

basicslly been all week with no communication

We used to have a contact there called Andy who could of helped but even he had enough and left.

I would ask to speak to management and say please help me resolve this with a 1 to 1 chat (thats how I resolved my first SOW at Casumo) or I will be taking legal action. All you can do really mate, they want you to play that 12k back and lose it.

I might be speaking out of turn but it was explained to me that if you flat out refuse then the casino have every right to report you to the bank for a suspicious activity report. This freezes your bank for up to 5 days while they investigate (I’ve had this done to me)  Despite your chopsiness that’s a bit of advice I’d give you to never lose your rag and no matter how trivial the piece of information they request you try and work with them

Sorry I’m new to all this what exactly is SOW?

and I just went on live chat they said there’s no managers on live chat and I should email them requesting a manager

Source of wealth, many ways a casino can try and wiggle out of paying. For example affordability checks, identity checks etc

Wait if my SOW does not satisfy them they are entitled to not pay? Can someone clear this up

It’s in the name really. If the money you spent on the bet is from a third party or derived from criminal activity (this is a tricky one) then yes they can void the win. If your friend sent you the money then it’s likely you won’t get paid (it’s in their T’s&C’s) if you spent your money that you receive from your job and everything is pukka with your bank statements etc then legally they need to pay. It doesn’t mean it won’t take a shit load of time and persuasion on your part though

I see. Well a friend did send me over £1000 but that’s because I resell trainers and streeetwear on the side so it wasn’t a gift. They did ask about this and I explained it wasn’t a “gift” but the money I used was money I saved from my job
