Yes. When you risk a massive fine from ASA/UKGC you take immediate action. Last week a couple of people started on about her age on Casinomeister when she streams, and the rules are you must be over 25 to advertise gaming products. The video is still up,she was plugging 'Dads' web sites more that a QVC presenter does with Liz Earle products! Its not the only reason well perhaps it is specific to Casumo, however... The whole reason the parliamentary group were looking at affiliation in general and why it was discussed just last week in the Select Committee meeting with William Hill, Ladbrokes, SkyBet, Paddy Power etc is because of both the amount of complaints it has now generated and the sites where it is conducted. I have been in correspondence with various people on these subjects and there have been complaints about things such as people being absolutely arseholed when streaming gambling, their response to losses, the unfavourable bonuses on offer via content producers etc etc and secondly there have been a lot of complaints about it being on Twitch, effectively an age unrestricted website. I have seen the email from Casumo and it appears to be an acute problem and one that they wish to resolve asap before allowing anymore referrals, they refer to it as a "pause" while they do some due diligence. The point being that affiliation has been spoken about recently by a House of Lords Select Committee and it was previously mentioned as being a point of interest for that Parliamentary Group headed by Carolyn Harris. My feeling is it will likely be stopped. Simply as gambling is a harmful product and the people promoting it are quite simply not qualified to be doing so. Its not like we are talking about an Avon Lady or a Slag showing off crotchless knickers at an Ann Summers party. We are talking about people peddling a product that destroys lives.
