Verification

Recommended Posts

I’ve no doubt this has been discussed before. Had an account with Casumo for a few years. Verified account twice over the years. Now, because my partner deposits money into my account to top up my wages that have asked for proof of his wealth (😂) and identity. He only gives me a few hundred a month and I sent them proof via a bank statement but it seems this isn’t good enough. Even tho I closed my account when this all started happening they’re still asking for it? It’s worrying me sick that they think I’ve done something illegal. There’s no way I would dream of prying into my partners private affairs to give them this info. What can they do if I continued to refuse?

Are you waiting for a pending withdrawal?

Agreed. If there is no pending withdrawal just don't play there if it makes you feel anxious.

If there is a pending withdrawal as @VillaLad asks,  is it significant to you?

I really think they have crossed a line here as it’s simply none of their business. Surely that goes against data protection laws.

i certainly wouldn’t worry about it.

Thank you. I did think about the data protection act but wasn’t sure. Surely I can’t be the only kept woman who gambled online. I’m waiting for a response from them to my last email.

Okay, that is good news. Just ignore and do not reply. It is there so for example you can log in, deposit but not be able to withdraw till you have been through that process.

You do not have to provide any personal information. It is simply them telling you that you will not be able to withdraw if you do play. Rest easy, it is standard emails from them

Honestly do not panic. All is well. They would only require that information if you continued to play and wanted to make a withdrawal.

Your partner was depositing money in your bank account or in your casumo account? If he deposits in your casumo account and its allowed then its normal for them asking for proof of his wealth since it could be money laundering if he deposits money for you.
If he just deposits money into your bank account than it doesnt matter and its not their job to ask for that and I dont even know how would they know that he does.
Either way if you closed the account it doesnt matter anymore since you wont play there and you dont need to send anything.

He deposits into my private bank account. They asked for proof as for 2 months I gambled more than I earn so I proved to them that he gives me money which more than covered my deposits into the casino. As I said, once they asked for his proof of wealth I closed my account ( I can no longer log in ) and refused to send any further evidence. But I received another email this morning asking for the same thing. I thank you all for your responses as it’s made me feel a bit better. Should I just ignore any further correspondence?

Yes, just ignore and do not deposit there as you will not be able to withdraw. Rest your mind x

If you have no pending withdrawal and you have closed your account in the politest way possible tell them to fuck off 👍

Nothing to worry about you just cant continue playing there until you do as they ask, same as the Bandit for example.

Hope this puts your mind at ease somewhat
