Stop and Step

Recommended Posts

So, I was watching a stream and the guy mentions that Stop and Step sold his YouTube channel quite a long time ago and that he's never actually mentioned this on any of his videos, effectively meaning that he's kind of employed to create the content

I wonder, is he being bankrolled to create the content and rake in the affiliate and ad revenue for whoever owns the brand/channel?  The streamer said he could be in some kind of deal for a certain amount of time to create videos etc.  I actually like his stuff so was a bit disappointed to hear this.

I posted this thread on his forum and asked him to clarify, but the post has been deleted which reeks of guilt.

Fucking hell, it seems like everyone is at it in this game!  I can't help but feel maybe Vardy's wife is involved somehow...

Can't  really comment as I have have never watched him, but I didn't realise you could sell your YT channel? Is his channel called something else now? or does it say stop and step is brought to you by blah blah blah?

But if someone has paid him money, and it means he is a pro streamer, then hope he makes a go of it. If it was a good offer he would have been foolish to turn it down I guess.

But like I said others here will know more than me..... as I know nothing, just like Manuel off Fawlty Towers

There is no 'bought to you by...' or sponsored by on his videos at all - the impression that is given off is that he's a regular guy that gambles his own money in the bookies/arcades etc

I assume he has a business, as he has lots of affiliate deals and the YT channel is part of that business, he's getting 30/40k views on his videos and on every one he promotes a list of his affiliated casinos - I don't have any issues with that

But I personally think it's misleading if he's sold his affiliate business to someone else but on the basis that he remains the 'face' of it and keeps creating content to push sign ups for the owners

I guess at the end of the day it doesn't matter where the affiliate money goes, but what bothers me is whether or not he's being bankrolled by this business to play the games and create the content - that is what I have an issue with because it takes away any authenticity - deleting the thread on the forum only raises suspicion that something is going on he doesn't want people to know about

Stop and Steps videos have changed recently... bigger bets and more online sessions.

His name often appears on the winner's list on White Hat sites so he does play a lot offline (that we don't see) and he has never shown his deposit/withdrawal history so it could be a case of selected editing etc.

Nice guy though :)

The thing with him though is that he appeals to the most vulnerable types of gamblers, those that like to play in bookies (maybe because they've self excluded online - like myself, the bookies would be the only outlet to gamble) and if he's going in losing 3 or 400 a time but it's not really his money he's playing with, to me that's a problem

Again, I could be barking up the completely wrong tree, just thought it worthy of a discussion at least

I don't watch the guy but its against youtube terms and conditions to make a video if you are sponsored by someone and you don't disclose it, Like most things gambling wise though lots of grey areas.

His videos and descriptions do sound like just a advertisement for the bookies so wouldn't be surprised if he is being funded. But innocent until proven guilty and all that.

More than likely he is just making bank from affiliations

Just heard about this today on fruity from josh , for anyone who hasn't watched him , his vids are mostly bookie fobt related vids , that is up until 3/4 months ago when he started doing online , as I was made to understand it utube will not allow this under their t&cs so its his brand name he has sold to an unknown company .there are storys going about the forums that he funded himself via a lottery win , dont know if this is true , but as it was mostly bookie vids, he used hard cash , he was the 1st streamer I came across as it was fobts I started on and could relate to what he was showing , b4 I moved online , good luck to him I say ,  I was glad to see him going online like other streamers, but now maybe 8n hindsight this was part of the deal to promote his already popular site , by his mystery buyers . His vids have an average 40 to 50k veiws so their is huge potential there for whoever bought him out . I personally dont think he looked for this move , as he just comes across as an average punter .

Someone told me has money because he owns a chain of bakeries which funds it. I don’t know. I can’t watch him for long. His voice is so monotonous. He has no inflection at all.
