Last year Mr Hackz was good enough to accept a request for a charity from me relating to assistance my nephews parent were recieving. If this link is ok, Daily Mail online have picked up his recovery story

Hi Folks!

I have been patiently waiting to submit a charity for quite some time, I personally felt that I should wait and get to know the members of the community before submitting a charity that I felt would benefit from the kind donations funded by 21 casino and voted for by the boys and girls of TGC.

Having worked with autism for many moons I thought I would submit my suggestion of a local charity which worked with autistic children. I decided to drop them an email explaining how we worked in regards to the voting procedure, I made it clear that we wouldn't be connecting their name to any links to gambling and that it was simply a donation that would be given to them if their charity was successful in the poll. I was in no way looking for any thanks but rather permission to use a link to their website where the TGC members could get an eyeball as to where their vote was being given.

Well... 2 weeks later and they haven't even had the decency to reply to me so they obviously don't require any financial help, this has left me a little embarrassed as the good boys and girls of TGC were vocal in their support as they were aware of my Brothers background.

I have been in touch with another local group who would be grateful of any donation that would help them in keeping the doors open and providing vital services to disabled people within the community.

I am in no way taking this as a personal insult but rather a surprise that any charity can knock back a cheque for a  few hundred quid.

Thanks folks.

I always look for smaller charities which I feel would benefit most from a donation of this kind rather than a bigger organised charity that has the sort of money at their disposal that would shock most people if they looked into it.

It also seems a shame when as in this case they cannot reply or acknowledge your interest in their cause, Hopefully your new choice will benefit more from the funds,
