It hurts now, but in a couple of days/weeks, it will pass. Most of us have/are going through it. It's a sick game that we play and we have to live with it, one way or another.

The only thing that works for people like me and others are taking away the possibility to do it. If you don't have the means then you don't have to think about it. Even our favourite gambler (rolla) uses the same strategy to control himself.

DAY 16

I hold on. I wrote down on a piece of paper the total amount I lost since that I'm gambling addict.

And every time I want to gamble, I look at this sheet and tell myself that it's not worth gambling again.

Think it helps a bit.

Have a great day!

You need into other things dude

Cycling - Swimming - hiking

You need to remove the brains chain of thought,  it's good you can atleast see you have an issue and you want to fix it, so many people are in denial with addictions

1 last cigarette or I drink every day BUT NO I'm not an alcoholic

Giving up any addiction doesn't happen overnight,  you will have highs and lows, only when you start to feel good will you start to see you are winning, winning the battle you had with yourself.

I hope when you do finally win you don't have any need to return back here

Entirely agree . Good food , nature , time to rest and reflect. Pause and take stock .open new horizons through food, and time with friends, generate goodwill and peace in your body . Illuminate your day with good thoughts and future plans .  Help others in need . give freely your time , and small gifts that move others forward . Have no arguments or disdain, anger, or fears, self recrimination or regret. stand alone , take ownership of mistakes and let them go . And above all live your life , every moment , dont waste it away in regret .

Keep strong ❤️

I'm all good mate.  I have no desire at all to gamble at the moment.

It's not like I don't have the money but because I lost too much already.

Money doesn't grow on trees so I need to be careful. Peace.

So why are Banks called branches

I know exactly what you mean by that. Banks are creating money out of thin air that doesn't actually exist by printing it. Us are slave of money but can't print it as they do. Too bad.

All is fine mate. Thank you.

Very tempted to gamble again to be honest but I didn't

This is exausting because even tough I lost so much money by gambling, ironically something is pulling me back to it ...

The urge will always be there, sometimes stronger than other times.

It's how you cope with it that matters.

You know what it takes because you have done it.

Stay strong my friend

Don't give in!

Temptation, the chase. Not worth it and you know that. The pull is only the addiction whispering. Stick two fingers up to it!

Looking back is never a good idea.

Everyday you don't gamble is the real win.

Keep posting x
