I hope to submit a charity soon as i've worked with autism for over 20 years now. I wanted to establish myself on the forum first before placing a charity of my own choice.

Everybody now knows what autism is but they rarely understand the incredible pressures it puts on families, especially young families. It can be unbelievably stressful bringing up a young family when an autistic son/daughter demands so much of the parents time. Sometimes those families just need that little period off respite where they can focus on other things.

It's a charity close to my heart as I have a 38 year old Brother with Autism.

The charity I will nominate doesn't affect my Brother and I, it is a small, local charity who provide respite for autistic children.

Thanks Boys and Girls.
