I’m joking mate but yes I was terrible yesterday just got lucky at the end

I had been doing that , getting lucky , but the luck ran out.

I've finally realised that however much you win you will always give more back

Exactly, the worst thing is to get a win. We'll be thinking we can win ...

In reality, we can't because we can't stop. It's always against us, isn't it

Spot on. You win once and you think you can continue to win.

That's why we must not put a bet on. Lose or win, we know the score.

We do indeed. I've stopped for periods of time in the past, but made the big mistake of saying one little bet won't hurt. But it does, you are back to square one.

I'm determined this time and with the phoenominal support on here I know I can do it

Good luck David. To resist the urges to gamble have you ever wanted to learn a new skill or take up a new hobby? It is the ideal time to focus your attention on doing something else, if you ever have. A heathy distraction will help. All the best mate.

I agree. I really must do something to resist the urges when/if they return.

Don`t bother to count the days ? You are going to be ok. Every time when you want to gamble just think how you felt when you lost last time ?

Its like a diary for me to be honest. Just documenting how im feeling as the days go by.

You are right though about thinking how you felt previously. Thats essential especially when you start to get over recent events.

Yes, you are right, at some point you won`t care anymore the first days it is a little bit hard , but with help you will be ok ?  try spend a lot of time outside, because this days if you are on social media (facebook, twitter , instagram etc) all the ads based on your recent use will be related to casinos .

A couple of months ago I signed up to racing TV which is a minimum 12 month contract. ?.

However, I explained my situation and they agreed to terminate the contract with nothing else to pay.

Fair play to them

Thats pretty good of them to be fair.

Once you have made a decision then the enormity of the decision is laid bare. Your recent life has revolved around Gambling , and now for the first time in many years a slower , more deliberate assessment of your life is approaching you.

Inside the body there s a certainty that what you've done is right and its moving you forward.

Outside your body new avenues of thought are needed to fill the time with more obvious reasons to be cheerful than the result of a race.

Now what matters is people , now because you are going to put  them first  ,and as a result your life will become much happier and less constrained by the need to prove your capacity in other areas.

Not Gambling is hard , initially , but you will sail though this because you have friends around you , who wish you well.
