Personally I would normally take any bonus as long as its over 100% and not something like 100x wagering, it usually increases your expected value and in my case I normally go close to the maximum bet allowed, if I were playing with my own cash I wouldn't be doing spins that big, horse for courses I guess and whatever works for us individually.

I never take any bonus offers anymore, just straight up cash as I only made wagering 2/10 times on average.

Feels good when you can play any game you want and never need to read the bonus terms ?

When I click your site there are like 500 affiliation links all offering different bonuses to different casinos, so I assumed taking a bonus must be really good.... but you think it is best not to? Hmmm... maybe its only good to use straight cash if you're playing with money you got from people losing?

It's personal choice Denman. I deposited £5000 once, got £5000 bonus at a White Hat casino. Took a week to meet wagering, max £5 stake and all the other BS of excluded games. Never putting myself through that torture again!

I see lots of people win on deposit bonuses. Last year a guy won £1.3m with me on a £50 dep + £50 bonus and at the end of last year a lady won £41k on her 3rd spin on Treasure Nile. Granted it was a non-sticky bonus so she never had to wager a penny.

And as I've said many times before, barely half of the links on my site are affiliate links. They are just straight up homepage links. Why? Because the casinos don't have an affiliate program in first place.

There are pros and cons of deposit/reload bonuses. Personally, I prefer to be able to hit the cashout button on my terms these days.

Totally agree Nicola I havent taken a bonus in years, the freedom of withdrawing anytime after a decent win is what its all about. Dont get me wrong if I received an exceptional bonus with a crazy small wagering I would do it, however they just dont seem to exist!

You seem to be very bitter against affiliates and streamers, judging by your posting history. Yet you spend a lot of time on a forum run by one of the best streamers and an affiliate.

Intriguing ?

You're advertising your own affiliation on another affiliates website. That is also intriguing in my opinion.

But yes I do spend time on here. He is far less of an obnoxious affiliate than yourself and many others. I have also been just as critical of his association to affiliation as I have of others. It is a great environment to criticise and discuss affiliation in general.

Absolutely that's the great thing about forums, we can discuss the good and the bad things of gambling and the like ?

I would like to know why you feel I have become extremely unpleasant towards you. I don't think we have ever exchanged a bad word against each other.

You have done absolutely nothing and I am sure you're a lovely person, please do not take my criticism so personally. It is not against you directly. Still however the method which you have chosen to make an income is morally wrong in my opinion. As far as I am concerned it should be criminal and met with fines or jail time. Perhaps one day it will be. Your site in particular, well Mr Defty's site, I do not know what relation he has to you, is the absolute worst of the worst, the branding and name makes it sound like a site with the players best interest at heart, entirely playing off actual helpful organisations like GamStop and GamCare, which personally I find absolutely deplorable. Yet it is no such thing, it is just another parasitical affiliation site, just as scummy as all of the others if not more so. I would personally feel deeply ashamed if I were involved with such a thing. But everyone has a different concept of what is morally right and wrong, especially when their pockets are involved.

Its an absolute insult to actual organisations addressing problem gambling. Its an insult to problem gamblers. No offense @Nicola but your friend or boss or whatever he is to you Mr Defty,, is deserving of a good slapping in my opinion.

Its like creating a website called alcohols anonymous and linking alcohol to buy with a cheeky link to AA meetings on the sidebar ?

Might be worth checking when GamStop was founded, and who helped with the organisation both financially and tested it ?

I'm proud of what I do, the team I work with every day and things I have personally contributed to the industry. I meet with the UKGC every three months, conference call once a month and am tightening up this industry with all my might.

Without derailing the thread anymore, I have already invited to meet with you to discuss things as I'm interested in your thoughts. If not, that's ok too ?

As you have now involved other members of staff into this discussion, I can no longer discuss this further. I'm sure you understand this.

I would stop talking about it too if I had been called out on something that I can't possibly defend myself from. I cannot imagine that you're so deluded to believe that you're actually doing something good. No of course I am not going to take time out of my life for someone to try convince me affiliation is okay. For as long as you advertise your shitbag of a site where I can plainly see it, I will continue to offer it the same criticisms and contempt.

Don't give them idea's. Their next venture will be opening a drug rehabilitation centre complete with its own built in Crack Den.

It is really not bitter at all ? As I have said I am sure Nicola is a lovely person and I have no problem with her at all but even lovely people can be deluded and morally questionable.

...who gets put off joining casinos or playing slots sometimes due to ludicrous and absolutely unfair wagering requirements?

I just totally refuse to play a bonus at all nowadays....its a complete con, regardless of wagering because the RTP is being messed about, and you don't ever know the Truth about the site with who you are dealing .

Par for the course in this industry, especially in recent months. Doesn't bother me in the slightest but I am surprised that some respected members tonight have resorted to threatening physical assault on one of my colleagues.

Having worked for one of the main online casinos in Malta before moving to the UK, you toughen up to certain people who dislike the industry as a result of personal bad fortune partaking in gambling.

I know where you are coming from but she did have a big part in bringing gamstop to market so I thank her for that . As for affiliation , some do it right and some don’t . It’s just my opinion.
