Polo11 7 Posted May 13 @Rocknrolla I have a scenario for you, because I have no idea how to play this hand. I get this hand quite often. Can you reply full table 9 handed, 6 handed, and in tournaments. How do you play Ace off, in those senarios? A 2 A 3 A 4 A 5 A 6 and even A 7 all off suit. Much Appreciated
Solario333 3,985 Posted May 13 Ace Off with a low card is always a fold, almost regardless of position . Except on the button when all others have passed ....

Crunchie 10,947 Posted May 13 I assume were talking pre flop here.....as Rolla said...Too many different scenarios but generally out of position on a 6-10 table safe play is a Fold. Unless your seriously short stacked and looking for a hail mary play, then any ace is welcome. But if it came round to you and you ended up in heads up situation against a short stack and you got the chips, you would call every time. But A6 or A7 are worse than 5 or less, like the guys said as your limiting your outs. Not quick answer, as it depends how your oppo are playing, stage of tournament, stack sizes, etc etc @Polo11
Polo11 7 Posted May 13 Thanks, it was a stupid question, now that I think about it. I know any Ace is good heads up. Scimmed through a lot of Doug Polk's older streams today and got an answer. Thanks Any chance of a stream this week, Paul?
crazyrightmeow 1,046 Posted May 13 It all depends on the position, stack size, players, ... I would recommend ICMizer or similar programs for you where you can replay scenarios against different ranges and stuff like that to see what is the most profitable play. In poker there is almost always "it depends".
