Us United fans knew what was coming when they sacked their manager. 2 games in 2 weeks and we knew there’d be a reaction and we’d walk away with less than 6 points

Ur right there pal, I thought United might be on full steam given how far they have come recently. Results like tonight will screw their chances. I will be astonished if city aren’t hammered by the FA and relegated.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that. They said the investigation could take years

The investigation has happened already they’ve charged them. Man City we’re found guilty by UEFA but got away with it in the court for sport arbitration because the “offences” happened too long ago, the premier league don’t have any time limits in there terms n conditions so I’d say Man City are fucked. They wouldn’t charge them if they never had enough evidence and they have to come down hard with whatever punishment they decide, if they don’t they might aswell scrap FFP.

Suppose it was inevitable something like this would come to light eventually.

We all know money corrupts and the amount of money floating around the premier league is sickening.

Whatever punishment is handed down should also be a warning to the rest of them that they are not untouchable.

Rangers were instantly demoted to the third division in no time, Juventus demoted to Serie B. Man Cities punishment should be swift and severe given the timescale they have been breaking financial conduct rules. If teams as big as Juventus, Rangers, Marseille and Standard Liege get punished then City should be no exception.

If that happens are they stripped of previous titles won over that period?

For me all that is irrelevant I couldn’t care less about that. The main thing is the actual punishment that will make other teams think twice about breaking the rules. I’ve read a bit into it and it’s not just about transfers it goes way deeper than that, Mancini was on a contract but he also had another contract from Saudi at the same time, also heard Man City wasn’t very forthcoming with things that the premier league wanted during the investigation, they are guilty they know it and everyone else knows it they ain’t getting away with it this time on a technicality. If they do then football is ruined.

There is zero chance of them getting away from avoiding penalties given the timescale they were breaking rules, probably end up playing in the championship for a season as a punishment.
