Taylor just beat that 13 year old kid from BDO in a match at the Tower of London

Imagine playing to win against a kid. Reminds me of the Michael Owen video celebrating the goal against the kid in training. Hahh

Absolutely spot on.  It was embarrassing

Oooo I never seen this thread. Most weeks I do a treble or 4 timer in with the Rugby League game. I done 3 accas, a £3 one, a £2 one and a £1 one.... only the £1 remains ? not won the 4 weeks I done em yet, but got close.... could this be the week??

Bet he didn't even give him a chance either

Sounds like a dick move but thats what I admire about winners, people complain about some sportsmen that dominate their sport but I admire the winning spirit that means you never like to lose no matter what.  I watched Taylor play against those Chinese women with the soft tip darts or whatever you call that plastic dartboard with the holes in it and he was not for going easy on them either in what was just an exhibition match.

I think he won the BDO world juniors with a 121 finish and had several ton plus finishes against Taylor,  said he had won three BDO juniors in 2019.   I hope he keeps it going for the future

Yeah, always good to see the youngsters that come through.

You are the sort of man that fist pumps when you beat your child in Hungry Hippos. I respect it.

Spot on again patty. He's had one tough life and has turned things around so he's got plenty to smile about.

He's living the dream

Was quite chuffed for him when he won his first major tournament as you say his life has been hard and instead of feeling sorry for himself he worked hard at what he was good at and is now being rewarded. Good luck to the fella. ?

Wait until the Chinese start taking an interest in darts. They took an interest in snooker a while back and now the amount of talented kids coming through is amazing. Saw a video about the snooker clubs over there....hundreds of kids playing for hours everyday.

Its even on the curriculum in some schools !! as they got ex pro's going from this country going over there to mentor the good ones. Over 200 million people watching Dings world championship games, incredible if you think about it........ #nopressuretherethen ?
