Lighty45
Just wondered if anyone has watched the Breaking Vegas Roulette documentary on Youtube. I was going to link the video but it is not the greatest quality. So basically in the summer of 1990 a guy decides that he is going to formulate a plan to beat the Roulette at his local Casino. He notices that some numbers appear to come out more than other numbers. So he starts to log the numbers that come out. He gets family members to help him out. But simply the Casino has something like a 1.7% bias. He logs something like 30,000 spins and formulates a computer program to help pick the numbers that appear the most. A bias wheel, this can happen if the legs of the table are not level, wear on the track, the ball, the ballbearings on the wheel, all wheels are said to have a bias of 1%. Now if you can log 1000s of spins you can manipulate the bias into your favor. He assigns 12 numbers that are hitting more often than others, bearing in mind every wheel is different it mean he needs to inlist many family members to help him log then place the bets.He starts of with a balance of $2200, and although they are on very low stakes they start of losing, but eventually the numbers start coming in and soon they are hitting $100k. They hit several casinos around the world, by now they are well known, and Casinos obviously do not like losing money. They twig on its something to do with the wheels and try many tricks like swapping wheels etc. Funnily the thing that tipped the casino of was the fact they he refused to tip the dealers etc. Eventually they start getting kicked out of Casino's but appeal to the gambling commission and get bans overturned, still Casino try every trick in the book to stop him playing. Eventually he family have enough and go back to the old jobs. It is reported they made over $1 million dollars.

Sure it was closer to $2 million L45.. hang on, been a while since I counted it up Stellar post and for anyone who has not seen it or heard of it, worth a look see while soaking in the bath instead of watching the latest episode of Corrie!! Thanks for the info Lighty, been many years since seen anyone play "similar" to that in the real world, as we now have "roulette system devices" floating around that do the same thing, but in days not months of scribbling down!! There is 100% a tooled bias on all roulette wheels made, mechanically, tooled or handmade.. but that bias, is there for a reason, it also gives the house edge the edge, if you get certain "repeater experts" with "limitless pots of laundry money" to be able to re-quarter the wheel after X spins, eg: completely randomize the next 8 spins again!!
