Gaztroy 103 Posted January 2, 2019 Happy new year everyone! It’s a bit of a crazy story to tell really. Generally I have been gambling on and off for years… for the last ten years of so it has been less so as I have had more responsibilities. 2017/2018 was not a good year for me as I got made redundant and spent all of the money. I did get a new job but that job was working from home and I started to think about online gambling. I never thought about it before as my previous gambling was a lot of fobt’s and land based casinos when I was in town. This year at 21 casino I had won huge a 38k win and 25k win. The problem was is that I spent most of it back. That amount wasn’t quite enough for me to be happy with, it would pay off some of my debts but not all of them. Mentally I always wanted a 10k cash buffer for myself so that if I wanted something nice I could buy it. Last week I deposited £1500 quid into slotplanet and had some major hits. The biggest was from lightning roulette. I had some tier bets and it hit 500x @ 75 quid on the number. The way I normally gamble is big if I win big. Some of you may have seen these screenshots before (on letsgiveitaspin stream) but after the lightning roulette win. I played on a bit more and killed it. Got my money today and am so so happy, paid off all the debts, put limits on all the websites I am a member of, gave the mrs some money and am going to look for a car as well as go on a business analyst course which I have been putting off for ages. 1 1 6 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I was like your card is rubbish and the rate is terrible. Even one place said you currently have 0.5 % cashback on your card, if you close it and reapply again you wont get that good rate anymore! I was like all the interest i paid you leeches and you trying to hard sell me? I am trying to.. over the years i have had some big wins and i always swore to myself, if i just get that big win, i will stop stressing about how to pay back debts etc and enjoy life. 2018 was given three chances for that and blew it twice and so this is the last one. I know i will never win this much money again. i tore up all the cards today, closed the accounts and now put a serious chunk of the money into a 3 year bond which is crap interest but technically cant access for 3 years. put a little bit into a pension i have and will spend 15k on the mrs for her new car. everything else for a rainy day. i am looking for a new job too right now so takes off the pressure immensely. i dont want to encourage people thinking that there is always that one big win that will get them out of trouble but i am so lucky that in my case it happened. i am grateful and now hopefully have put everything in place so that i am a stress free ish future and a good one. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I was once in the hole (in a single session) for 12k playing space wars. I remember it vividly just because it was so stressful. At £200 a spin that slot could very easily destroy a 20K+ balance.
