Ok. So starting with £50 on January 1st, and looking to go through the whole of January doing one bet a day at odds around 1/10 each day. Let's get off to a good 2019 with some profit!

Cue first day loss! ??

Anyone welcome to join with whatever stakes they feel comfortable with.

Or feel free to do your own with own odds

is that 10/1 ?? if so I will be obliging and keep an account,at the rate stated.

Good luck with a whole month of 10-1 winners! Lol

Can do whatever price you want tbh.

I'm only thinking 1-10 as it's a pretty much dead cert every day so should at least get a few days in

depends on patience but i once did a similar thing but mainly with shorter odds. started with a tenner and every time i won i would bank half the profit and the stake woud increase by the other half. i did doubles and trebles though. i never lost and was up to over 100 quid bet when the betting group i was part of got bored of waiting. (10 of us used to do £10 a week and take it in turns to do £100 of bets a week on anythibg we wanted and split any winnings)

Ok so I will divide my 50.00 and spend it according to the odds..... i.e.   50 on 1/4 = 62.50 etc.

Or because I don't back odds on normally I will have 2.50 away  on a 10/1 and up each day , from a float of 50.00 and see what happens.

Then increase after a win and flat after a loss.

will post the bet each day.

All I would add is dont be obliged to bet each day, some days there may be no decent punts, then on saturday maybe 3 you fancy. Just take each day as it comes but if nothing is a good bet miss a day!

Under the terms of the challenge can I assume that Centipede agrees ??  So not a daily bet , but as the day unfolds?

people are free to do it however they wish to do it, I guess the only challenge is £50-£1k, however you choose to get there is up to you

I only decided to do 1 bet per day as the 31 days in january would take the winning to 1k ish.

Ill be doing my bets on the exchanges, so will have to pay commission each time, but will get slightly better odds

I'll have a bash but will start with £20 (£50 and i won't sleep lol) and see where it gets me.....or doesn't most probably......might try and choose from some of @spursman wierd and wonderful collection of world sports. Brazilian Female Mud Wrestling always been a particular favouite.....

who was the guy here that knows his onions regarding tennis and done something similar??

I may do more than one some days and none others, just a time thing really.

@Solario333 @DIJACKFROST @Crunchienut @MrUKHackz

would you like me to post our selections and profits/returns on a spreadsheet and post it on here each night, or would you like to keep your own tally and post it yourself in here each bet you do?

I will post my bets as I do them . And a running tally . You can spreadsheet them if that s the consensus.

Seeing as how I have closed my betting accounts to avoid slots, anyone here willing to do this for me if I send them £20 via bank transfer?

I could do it, but I cant deposit it into betfair until thursday as my limits have been reached.

if you wanted I could do it into either betstars/whill/betvictor, but you would have to put a sportsbook bet on each day, and then i can withdraw it thursday and get it into betfair for the remainder of the month.

or you could just join on thursday?

or someone else might be able to do it?

up to you mate

My original bet was Arsenal v Fulham +1.5 goals, but odds were dire, so first up, I have gone brave with a mahooooosive 2/9 shot...

£20 @2/9 on Skybet  Donny v  Rochdale  +1.5  match goals.....will net me £24.44

It's harder than I thought, even at lower odds, NOTHING seems like a dead cert.

Good Luck
