I know some of you do not care much for our wildlife but there is a lady on the Isle of Wight who works tirelessly to help all kind of animals. Her page on facebook says she mostly helps pigeons and dove rescue and rehab but in truth she rescues, bird of prey, swans, ducks, geese, all the wild birds you can think of. She gets no support from anyone and often she will stay awake all night caring for a small sick animal. she is a registered licence holder for caring for our native wildlife. I met her briefly once to hand over a sick bird, she traveled all the way from the IOW to Southampton spending her own money to pay for 4 taxis and 2 ferry jorneys just for one bird. of course I gave her a small donation to help her but she does this everyday 365 days of the year. She is a really nice caring person with a true heart of gold and I have never met anyone who is so deserving than her. She works closely with a vet and is often confronted with vet bills although many are free. all of her work is volentary. If you'd like to find out more about her work and her charity then you can feel free to visit her facebook group here ->>> https://www.facebook.com/pg/wallyawol/about/?ref=page_internal

I would be grateful if you'd consider her as a recomendation for one of your chosen charities, she's be not only surprised but truely grateful. She has no idea I have done this for her. I just hope some of you on here have a heart for this lovely lady who works so hard for our wildlife. thanks (hope it was ok to post the link)

Sure that @Rocknrolla will notice your post about Kay and pick up on it soon, funny how just a little amount or something from an Amazon wish list anonymously can really help kind heart individuals like her Dion!!!

Not too sure if she has the pecking order right, between breed @Blampy & breed Paul though... :Mutley:

Was wandering whether I could put forward a charity?

After a long battle with C.O.P.D my Dad passed away over the weekend with bronchial pneumonia.

www.loros.co.uk has played a big role in keeping him going for so long. Am still coming to terms with it at the moment and am not in a writing mood.

But any support would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Paul.

A very big  thank you to all involved in this. The charity I put forward has been voted 1st this month. The reason I suggested this chairty was because last month my 2 year old nephew had a 'minor' fall from the sofa, which resulted in him spending over 2 weeks in a coma and numerous operations for bleeding on the brain . This charity support families in need by putting them up in hotels when their children are in hospital so they can be close by.  Thank you once again, esp. Mr Hackz for organizing these, and 21 casino for their generosity.
