If you relied on form as we all know through trying to predict a game doesn't mean shit.. The amount of times a bwt fails because the 'form' team draws/loses... Fair enough if it comes in but the risk is not covering yourself when you could still be in profit.. The key is not to be greedy take your guaranteed profit

I remember once when Reading was in the Premiership backing them to score first as I needed Tottenham to beat them for an £800 coupon up, everything on Saturday had come in and I just needed Spurs to win on Sunday.  So I stick £20 on Reading to score first - which they do, then Spurs equalise within seconds, now my £20 is nearer £50 so that goes on Reading to score the next goal - which they do and again Spurs equalise before the bet has even been settled.  Now it's £110 on next goal Reading and it plays out exactly the same again.  Four times I kept doubling up on Reading to score the next goal and it happens and when I am lining up to do it a fifth time Spurs score to go ahead for the first time in the match before I can get it on and then they score agin and win 6-4 so I got my £800 line up and another £400 with my efforts to cover it.

Wow, you got super lucky there. Probably the last time Reading scored 4 . Imagine the odds on a 6-4  with 20 notes on it...!!

I just looked it up as it does not feel all that long ago, turns out it was that long ago - 2007 - Dimitar Berbatov scored 4 goals that day.  I also got my recollection wrong about how I worked it, it was Spurs that scored first and I stuck the £20 on Reading to equalise knowing that if Spurs scored again then I would have a cushion and thats how it played out to the 6-4

I'm in meetings all afternoon, so done my bets early as Shakhtar kicks off early...

I have done a happy medium, I done 20 on the draw and on Hoffenheim to win, so thats a minimum 80 sheets back. I have also reloaded with a new fiver bet for the night ahead.

Shakhtar v Hoffenheim  -  Shakhtar to win

Valencia  vs  Juventus  -  Juventus to win

Sampdoria vs  Fiorentina  -  Sampdoria  to win (excellent odds given the form so far 17/10) against Fiorentina who are better at home. Apparently.

Notts Forest  vs Sheff Wed - My risky one as I hate betting on the Championship, but Forest drawn 5/7 already this season, and at 12/5 worth a pop.

Win comes in at just under 180, but if all is going well I can see me cashing out mid Forest game. Im sensing I have made an error already.

I just thought something too, don't think its the last time Reading scored 4, think they scored 5 against Arsenal  in a cup game if I remember right, but still lost. Think that was more recent?

@david1111 I went against doing Man U even tho they are probably a class above the Swiss, not only have Young Boys won every game this season , the game is on astroturf which is a great leveller especially these days.So it was just enough to put me off. Remember when Oldham, Luton and QPR all done well when they had their plastic pitches in the 80's. Sure someone else had one.?

Just seen david done it, left it alone as too many uncertainties. I think Andorra national team plays on an artificial pitch and nobody whips em any more. It really is a great leveller. Combined with the fact Young Boys have won every game this season sealed the deal.

Only one I wish I had done in my acca was Real to win and BTTS, instead of the Notts Forest Draw.

How come you don't play our footy game Mad Slasher? I think from next month Paul is doing prizes for it, and the racing comps I think.

Im really worried about this game tonight, I never get nervous doing horses but with footy I always have doubts. In a few weeks will start doing accas on the weekend, Too unpredictable for me the start of seasons. Both for Footy and Horses.

How relieved I am right now with my 20 on Hoffenheim @ 4.3

I will be 42 bucks up overall if they win, 35 if its a draw and 83 if Shakhtar win. Its not very rock n roll but a wins a win. Paid for my golf bets anyway.

I'm really interested to see how Lyon perform tonight against City, I was so disappointed with PSG last night, all that big money team and superstar strikers and only managing one corner the entire night getting dispossesed all game in midfield and they are dominating the French Ligue 1.   I thought my one goal and 4x corners was a safe call and since it was on BT Sports it would just be a case of watching it unfold as I watched a game of end to end quality.
