British Justice

When I  was growing up we all believed in good old "British Justice" and  that  everything that happened within the justice system was  right.  Now over the years  there was the BBC  programme that highlighted miscarriages of justice  called Rough Justice  and this was all before the DNA  evidence was really a thing.

There have been very big stories such as  the Birmingham Six     and more recently the Post Office scandal.   In the past there was also  many cases which seemed excessively harsh  punishments  and it was  the public uneasiness with some of these that led to the suspension of hanging.

Some are listed here

https://www.crimeandinvestigation.co.uk/article/wrongly-executed-famous-uk-miscarriages-of-justice

There have been many cases where people were fitted up and received shorter sentences.

We have been led to believe after many cases were dealt with on appeal  and the exposure of  the police falsifying evidence that  things would  improve and yet here we go again  with evidence starting to appear that may suggest that Lucy Letby  has again been used as a scapegoat by the establishment to cover up failings in the system.

I also note that in this video her defence were refused the right to call an expert witness  for an appeal because they did not call him in the original trial  but in theory could of done despite him refuting the evidence of the main prosecution witness  (who evidence value has also been undermined in other ways).

Now I know that there are not many of us around   any more to  debate all this but I wanted to highlight it any way.

One thing fore sure is now that I am older I certainly do not believe that the system hands out justice and the police are honorable  and that the health service cannot be criticised because it is so great and that things are being done for the benefit of the hard working Joe public.

Surely the failings of all this are why so many conspiracy theorists gain traction  and cynically try and make money off the back of it all.

Now I know that it is not restricted to Britain and ironically there are many vases across the commonwealth which also adopted the British way of dishing out justice.

No doubt there are forums out there that highlight many of these cases  but even though we have a former top legal man at the top now  many politicians were around now when the Post Office scandal was happening and I doubt they will be keen to admit the failings  and improve things.

This was from last year. DNA evidence showed he was innocent 3 years after his conviction  yet he spent 17 years locked up.

I may be wrong but I think if you refused to accept your guilt and  maintained you were innocent then you did more of a sentence as well.

I also saw that when people were found to be wrongly locked up  and were paid compensation they were then deducted "bed and board" from it

The Letby sentencing sits wrong with a lot of people on social media. I watched the documentary on her and it seemed to me most of the evidence was based around hearsay and her working rota, certainly wasn’t tried by her peers. I think she’s as guilty as fuck though.

I have not looked too closely at this yet but  some investigators have managed to get her Rota's and it would seem as though she was not always working when these babies passed.   Someone in the comments said she had also raised complaints against 4 of the consultants who testified against her at trial.

At the very least the whole  way of operating  needs a damn good looking at.

As usual the prosecution was very deliberate in its selection of evidence and ignored deaths of babies that occurred when she was not present. Expert witness even changed his evidence of one death when he found out his original evidence would not work because she was not present

Watched the Netflix documentary on Jill Dandos murder. It’s surreal how the cops fitted up Barry George just to get the case closed.

Think that crackpot sniffed too much glue in his youth, the one brain cell he has left don’t work too good.
