Carrier Pigeon.

Hit the grand jackpot at the local pub today on Golden Century. $54k. That's probably not even 30k QUID as you fellas like to say.

Any1 wanna have  RON ZACAPPA with me?

Before I hit it I was going to get off but my internal dialogue inspired from Rolla said "no hindsight, keep playing, but putting the promise on to not put more in".

Thank you Rolla once again.

You can have a Ron Zacappa with @Adam Mok. I’m tying a note to the pigeons leg instructing Rolla to get the black bar fixed.

Looks like the gambling firms are going to get hit with a compulsory rather than the voluntary contributions they offered up of around 100 million.

https://bmmagazine.co.uk/news/government-plans-100m-annual-levy-on-gambling-firms-to-tackle-harms/

Only one place this is coming from and that is even lower RTP to players.  All the governments are looking to penalise  the gambling companies and to ban things like free bets and in the end it is the punters who lose out.

I wish they would take away some of the horseracing levy  and pay it over for problem gamblers.   Horseracing not only gets the levy but also now charges fortunes for media rights.

Looks like the regulations are passing through. Shit article though; they've missed the most glaringly obvious elephant in the room - the non-UK casinos.

Oh, and the fact you can still do £10,000 spins on roulette.

I see that's for the over 25s.

Still £2 for 18/24 year old.

Even so, you can still do some damage at them levels.

They are only interested in what they can control so they will never mention non uk sites as they have no jurisdiction and there's fuck all they can do about it

But they are controlling people to gamble via other means. Inadvertently maybe, but even so.

Makes me laugh that in a year’s time the UKGC will produce a set of stats showing what a positive effect this change has had. Little will they know (or care) about the reality of what is actually happening.

That's true. They have forced the situation.

The online restrictions are kind of pointless now anyway as the casino's themselves will no longer allow people to gamble how they want.

The whole thing has been a waste of time and money run by people who have no idea
