Chaos in October . Trump wins in November .  More chaos ….

I’m not so sure Phil. I thought Trump was a certainty but Harris seems to be adapting well whilst Trump is talking complete batshit.

It is funny the US election as the Presidents salary is 400k a year.   I believe Trump waved this but as the post has to be paid he took 1 dollar  a year.

So far I think that around 10 billion has been spent by both parties in this election  to try and secure the job !

I know the job also has a pension of 200k a year but to  get back 10 billion you would need to live for 50000 years

That’s why things are so corrupt you get extremely wealthy and powerful people being donors to an election run and when they are in office they owe favours to these people. Nothing is ever given for free.

Well  @Blacko   I hope you did not listen  to Rory Stewart ( I wonder if he got a free bet)  who lost the maximum  he could get on by backing Harris.

Despite the polls  saying it was a close run thing Trump has won by a landslide  no doubt his good friend Farage will  keep him updated on Labour but I doubt Karmer will be the only world leader  looking on wondering what the fudge do I do now.

I actually read a piece a few days ago where an inside pollster was saying that he believed the polls were wrong and  that they were as usual under estimating Trump support as many of his followers will not deal with the pollsters. It looks like Trump is going to take the overall  vote by a big margin as well which he did not even do when he beat Hilary Clinton.

I have to say after watching some earlier stuff and the live debate I thought Trump was in trouble and even told my mate who is a massive Trump fan  I did not think he could get in.  Glad I did not put my money down on that view.

It looks like that the Republicans will control  the senate as well now so it will be interesting to see what policies he manages to get passed.  I can see a big backlash against Europe as well  with all the huge fines being handed out to the large US companies by them.

The old phrase "May you live in interesting times"   comes to mind for the next few years.

I heard Farage praising Trump on GB news yesterday and how Britain is going to do well from this as he loves us due to to his Mother being Scottish… what a crock of shit!, first thing Trump did in his last term was to cripple the Scottish whisky industry with high tariffs. This narcissist doesn’t give a fuck about the UK.

The MAGA crowd who voted Trump in are waxing lyrical and becoming very excited at the thought of America being great again, I personally don’t see how he’s going to meet most of the promises he has made. Every answer he has involves raising tariffs for anyone who wants to do business with America, maybe consumers out with the states will stop buying from them if the costs are high.. I can’t see anyway of making these Trillions of dollars he has promised other than from the consumer paying high to trade with America.

DT also thinks the war in Ukraine can be solved simply by him making a phone call to the Kremlin, this is ridiculous!. President Trumps only concern is that of the money the US is sending to Ukraine. I can foresee the US immediately stop funding Zelensky  leading to peace plans being drawn up on Putins terms.

I’m not really buying into this Phil.

Elon is the real winner after this election. He bought one of the biggest social media companies for 44 billion used it to help trump win the election and made 75% of the cost back in day one. Tesla is probably a good stock to invest in right now. Trump owes him a lot of favours.

Elon is a smart fella, the purchase of Twitter has helped Trumps campaign no end. I listened to EM with Joe Rogan last night, apparently the Democrats have tried all sorts of shenanigans in attempting to silence X including a ban on advertising revenue. I should imagine President Trump will give Elon carte Blanche to do as he likes unrestricted from now on. I personally don’t see either of them as being the nicest of people.

Elon paid up to a million dollars a day in swing states, if you voted for Trump you got $100 and for ever person you referred you also got $100, she stood no chance!

Personally I prefer Trump to her. some of the stuff she was wasting tax payers money on is literally insane. For example, letting any inmate get access to gender-affirming surgery in federal prisons and immigration detention. 😬

Now correct me if I'm wrong but lots of prisoners in the USA have there "prison bitch" to play the girl for them. How many of those "bitches" were told to go and get a mangina and a pair of Bristol's or you're getting your throat slit?!

I'd imagine quite a few!

The Democrats have lost touch with their base and unfortunately  so have Labour.  I saw a video asking a Democrat how she could  insist they were  all for transgender rights  whilst at the same time claiming to protect women and she could not answer and kept switching even though the presenter kept saying answer the question.  As was pointed out in another video they need to reset and get rid of the people like the Obamas  Pelosi etc trying to pull the strings.  Remember  that Obama demanded that black men  do not vote for Trump and vote for Harris.   I have to say that despite being hamstrung by not controlling the houses  I was most disappointed   in the fact that he did nothing to  progress rights and believe he achieved little in office .

Democrats blames the economy   and there are a couple of articles on the daily mail saying that despite  many manual workers not having lower living standards compared to inflation they are not as well off relative to  others in the work force who have seen big improvements in their salaries over and above inflation Trump realised it and played to it but the democrats decided to push other policies that they thought would appeal to woman but they did not even get the votes there.  There was an amazing piece on how they pissed off the Amish in Pennsylvania  and tens of thousands of them signed up to vote for Trump.

Another thing regarding Trump   is he  now has the experience before taking up this office and I expect him to start moving a lot quicker this time in going after his targets.   I expect him to tell Israel they have to finish by a set date or he will remove support.  Same in Ukraine he is likely to say you have had a good amount time to reclaim your territory  and that he will withdraw funding  ( likely to say if Europe wants Ukraine to fight on then they can pay for it)  otherwise they will have to cede land to Russia.

He is likely to allow people like Elon free reign to make money   look how much they all made when Trump was elected from share rises.  He will likely reign back on restrictions for big companies as long as they make their product in the USA,   He will be aware that many will think he has only 4 years  and  not move back hence the tariff increases.

Also the make up of the Republican party elected senators etc are vastly different as many of them are now "Trump" men and so will go along with his policies .

All this talk of racism misogyny etc by many democrats  and lefties  is just name slinging as despite this many of those got nothing accept betrayal from the Democrats and I think found actually they feel may be better off under Trump. This may explain that despite the Democrats  claims to be the party for these  people  they are shocked that the "Turkeys voted for Christmas".  I think I saw that the people who would have been expected to be for the Democrats such as blacks and latinos etc were the ones that moved towards Trump in  such big numbers they help swing him the election

Trump may be a convicted criminal but I think people looked at it and said much of that was to do with his political career  and overlooked it despite all the cries of "but he is a criminal"

It goes to show how bad the democrats are when they have failed to beat Trump twice  in the last 3 elections and doddery old Joe was the man who did beat him.  I believe that I saw that Harris despite the talk did not get more votes in any district  than Joe did and he  beat her by several per cent in most places.

That's correct, not a single district!!
