Blacko
12 hours ago, david1111 said: I agree corach rambler is no red rum or tiger roll, but I can see why it's favourite. Lucinda Russell has a horse who's won the national so you can guarantee her preparation for another shot at the race will be spot on. And don't forget the national doesn't take as much winning as it used to. There are only 34 runners now and the fences have been eased considerably over the years. I would be quite happy if I drew the horse in the comp @crazyrightmeow £635 hardman, that must be the average Slovakian annual salary surely? @david1111 Corach Ramblers owners live in my neck of the woods, they’ve had a lot of fun and made a few quid in the process. It’s done the bizzo in last years national and ran well in the gold cup so it’s a worthy favourite, I think it has a chance if it stays on its feet.

I bet that makes him glad to live in Slovenia then have you got anyone you fancy in this years national Hardman? Other than the local lad Corach Rambler.

Also Mr Coffey each way at 100/1, was 5/1 favourite in 2022, finished 8th last year, small stakes. Corach however won it well last year and it ran a good race in the gold cup.

I don't fancy Corach Rambler to see out this years national and I see that 6/1 price going out nearer the time. I like Vanillier and Meeting Of The Waters and I got both on at 20s weeks ago now. Edit - I also like Nick Rocket for the Irish national, got it on at 8s and it's now 4s. Edited March 24 by Mad Slasher McGurk

I'm assuming your in the comp?
therealwintersoldier
Corach won very well last year and goes with again with a solid chance of doubling up. A couple at prices for me if the groud dried Salvador would run well. Salvador Ziggy 66/1 had a quid at 207/1 Mac Tottie 100/1
Solario333
With such a huge Prize pot ,we can add more places ?? £635 ... I suggest £250 1st £125 2nd £100 3rd £75 4th £50. 5th £25 6th £10 Last over the line . What do you think @david1111 @MrUKHackz ?? or alternatively an aintree Comp and a sweepstake for the national ??

Yes, agree with that. We are still short on entries, but still enough time so hopefully we'll be OK. If nothing happens in the next week or so we'll have to decide what to do. 16 entries so far and maybe @Douvan if he confirms Edited March 26 by david1111
Andymitzy
why don’t u just see how many spaces left and all them spaces get a horse each also and if placed in money then that goes towards next comp? 1

Chair Slots
Very kind of Rolla. Why doesn't everyone keep the contributions they were offering and just use the £500. That way it's fair to all.

david1111
So we have a few ideas now. I like @Andymitzy idea. If we leave the prize fund as it is then any monies not won will be carried over to another comp anyway. Everyone agree?

Should do a national sweepstake with top 4 receiving prizes and an aintree comp too if @Jok3st3r is happy to score. 2
