Its time for the first big competition of 2023. The Cheltenham festival is upon us already, and kicks off on 14th March. Always competitive, always fun, there can be no excuse for not entering This year we have 3 comps running side by side. THE MAIN: 100pts per day to bet with, making a selection in EVERY race, with a minimum of 10pts win or 5pts ew per race. To win, you simply need to be the highest accumulated points score after all 4 days of racing action. THE KO: The top 16 scorers from day 1 are seeded (1 v 16, 2 v 15 etc) and placed into the KO cup. Scoring is as per your main bets, you just have to score more than your opponent to qualify. Ultimately, we will end up with a 4 player final on the last day of the festival. THE SOLARIO CUP: New comp, sponsored by our very own @Solario333. This again will be run using the main selections, but there will be prizes for 1. most winners at 8-1 or above, 2. Most runner up selections, 3, Most unplaced horses. So plenty to go at, be nice to see some new entries, and of course all the regulars battling it out over the 4 days. LETS GO!!!

Next Friday and Saturday sees the annual Breeders Cup event take place. Once again, we will be hosting the Breeders Cup competition, with 5 races on Friday the 4th, and a further 9 races on Saturday 5th, Scores will be based upon the US tote returns as has become the way in this comp, and full rules will be posted on Tues or Wed. If you fancy a crack at it, just drop an im in below.

The No EW Fannies, York Racing Bonanza Comp Will Run From 17th August to 20th August For All You Racing Enthusiasts AKA - York Ebor Festival Ok, this will be 2 competitions running alongside one another. The main competition - will be a 'win only' comp dedicated to our one and only Pumpkin Head from the Midlands @VillaLad. For everyday at the York festival you will have to pick 3 horses and put each one as either a 30pt win, a 20pt win, or a 10pt win. The winner at the end of the competition will get a prize as decided by @MrUKHackz The knockout competition - is sponsored by @Solario333 For this competition you will have to pick one horse that is 2/1 or above SP that will WIN. To progress to day 2 your horse MUST win. If it loses you are out of this competition and are just left in the main competition. The players through to day 2 have to repeat the process each day until we are left with a winner. Winner £35 and 2nd place £15. This is my favourite horse racing festival of the year above Ascot and before the community was as huge and there were just a few of us that spoke about our bets, this was a time of the year we came together and smashed the bookies! That tradition has not stopped and still to this date I am in profit for every Cheltenham festival since being on Youtube which is around 8 years albeit not a huge amount! I'll never forget watching Annie Power nosedive on the last fence while myself and toastie were waiting for a Mullins 4 timer, I still think Ruby done it on purpose and that could of been one of the biggest losses to the bookies in racing history. Lets see if we can smash them this year and share our tips and predictions for the upcoming festival
