  1. Dear Shireen, Apologies for the delayed response. I do understand your frustration however, the operator confirmed that in accordance with their terms and conditions, third party deposits are not permitted on their website which is why your winnings were confiscated and the deposits that were made on the account, refunded to the payment method. As an ADR service provider, our role is to investigate a dispute based on the evidence, as such we review the terms and conditions that were agreed to by the player and determine if there has been a breach by either party. We also review the pertinent clauses in the terms and conditions to determine if they are in line with Consumer Rights legislation. Therefore, the operator has confirmed that you are in breach of their terms and conditions and unfortunately, we have to resolve this dispute in favour of the operator. This decision does not restrict your right to bring proceedings against the Operator in any court of competent jurisdiction eCOGRA’s resolution of the dispute. Please note, the resolution may be different from an outcome determined by a court applying legal rules. Kind Regards, Cleavant the above is my response from eCogra... any ideas on next steps? @MrUKHackz Cheers
  2. I also had a friend who won £3,200 on UniBet using a third party method maybe 18 months ago, they told him in writing that they would give him the winnings if he proved who he and the cardholder was, then when all docs were submitted, they refused to pay out - eCogra dealt with that too and decided in favour of the operator. Never really thought about it till now, but could he bring that back up somehow too? I mean it was literally said by the operator in writing that they are happy to pay him his winnings based on docs being received which he did!
  3. After all evidence was submitted I got a reply within about 15 minutes saying that the case had been decided in favour of the operator. Essentially they've totally ignored everything I have said and done. Any tips on what my next steps should be?
  4. eCogra have sided with the operator... baffling... done everything they asked and more, alerted them first, had written evidence from card holder saying that card can be used and explained why and how it was a mistake...
  5. Went through STS's own complaints procedure and they've ignored my whole explanation and just said I broke the terms and conditions. Submitted my dispute to eCogra this morning.
  6. So after letting them know about the issue and providing all documentation they asked for they are refusing to pay my winnings - they have only refunded the deposit. What should my next steps be?
  7. Cheers. Have explained the situation and asked them what they require, will see what they say
  8. ah great! Nice one So if I organise all the information, and then get a letter signed and dated by my brother, should all be good? Thanks for the welcome!
  9. Hi all! New here! Just have a couple questions that I probably know the answer to already. Opened an account with STS Bet at the weekend, deposited £200, won £750 odd. They've asked for docs for withdrawal which is fine! However I am totally aware of the error I have made.. the card I used is a pre-paid Monzo card that actually is in my brothers name and not my own. I have legal access to the card - I.E. its in my possession at all times. I use it for all online purchases etc as a form of protection etc, not that thats relevant! Question is.. if I explain this to them with a letter from him, signed, am I likely to get my winnings? Expect the answer to be no, its a total mess up on my part, I just pulled out the card I usually use for online shopping etc without even thinking about it and now its cost me lol! Appreciate any help if anyones ever come across this before! Thanks :) Shireen
